    Brown won 70-64 at Yale, as 8-pt dog Feb 12; they lost seven of last nine games though and lost five of six at home in Ivy, just as Yale is 1-5 vs spread on road in Ivy. Yale won six of last nine games, are 7-6 in league, while Brown is just 4-9.

    Princeton led by 17 in second half at Penn, and pushed game, as 8-pt dog, as Quakers exploded down stretch and won, 70-62. Penn is 5-1 on Ivy road, 4-2 as road fave, winning by 13,24,17,17,8 pts. Despite being 6-7 in Ivy, this is only second time Princeton is underdog.

    Denver won its last five games and covered 13 of 17 in Sun Belt play; they beat UL-Lafayette twice, 72-66 at ULL Jan 8, 79-72 on Feb 5. Cajuns are 6-2-1 against spread on Sun Belt road, but they split last four games. Denver is 14-3 in Sun Belt, UL-Lafayette 13-4.

    Visitor won both Detroit-Wisconsin-Milwaukee games with Titans winning here 76-68, as 10.5-pt dogs Jan 3, and Panthers winning 648 at Detroit. Titans won four in row, are 2-4 as Horizon dog. UWM won ten games in row, is 10-4-1 as fave, 7-2 vs spread last nine games.

    San Jose plays in WAC tourney, day after they canned their coach; they lost twice vs Hawaii this year, 71-45 on islands, 84-73 in San Jose. Spartans gave Nevada a good battle Saturday, their ninth straight loss- they're 4-5 as WAC road dog. Hawaii covered one of last six.

    Tulsa is favored, despite being 5-13 in WAC, 2-5 in last seven games; home side won both their games vs Boise this year, with Broncos winning 72-71, Tulsa by 13, 76-63. Boise split its last six games after 3-9 start in WAC; they covered three of last four games.

    Montana won last four games, is favored over Bobcats that beat Grizzlies twice this year, 62-60, 72-62. State lost three of last four games, covered one of last four as dog. Grizzlies are 4-3 as Big Sky favorite. Bobcats are 4-3 as underdog in league games.

    Portland State is come-from-nowhere top seed in Big sky; at 11-3, 7-0 at home, 5-2 as home fave, winning by 11,10,13,12,17,1,21 points- they won seven of last eight games overall. Weber State won last five games; they split with Vikings, losing here, 73-62.

    Clippers @ Lakers-- Clippers lost for third time in last four games last night- Clips really need this game, or will lose touch with playoff race. Teams split last 2 meetings, with Clippers winning last meeting by 16- in first game, they lost by hoop. Lakers are just 8-12 last 20 games, but they won last two, with five of their last six games going over the total.


    Elsewhere, 76ers are 3-5 last eight games; they lost by 8 in Miami last night, allowing Heat to shoot 55% for the game- they beat Golden State 112-104 in Oakland first time teams met. Warriors on fifth game of eastern swing- they covered four of their last five games.

    Cavaliers scored just 85.7 ppg last three games; they've lost six in row (1-5 vs spread) and you wonder if phone of Phil Jackson has started to ring yet. They split pair of home wins vs Magic, with Magic losing here 101-92 in last meeting February 5.

    Knicks won four of last five games, covered six of last eight; they lost 106-104 in only meeting vs Wizards this season. 11 of last 14 Knick games went over the total. Wiz lost six of last nine games, covered two of last ten; under is 4-1-1 in their last six games.

    Hawks lost 11 games in row; do they even have fans? If so, what must these people be thinking? Hawks stayed under total in last three games- they lost by 30 three wks ago in Milwaukee. Bucks lost to Bulls for second time in three nights Monday; they lost three of last four games.

    Expansion Bobcats lost 12 of last 14 games; in its last 11 games, they're 6-4-1 vs spread and drilled Minnesota by 18, 102-84 in first meeting. Timberwolves won three of last four games, with last three games going over, after previous eight games had stayed under.

    Despite not having Duncan, Spurs won last four games, but are 0-5 vs spread in last five; they beat Nets 101-91 in Jersey Feb 11. Three of their last four games, over the total. Nets lost last two games; eight of their last ten tilts stayed under the total.

    Utah lost eight of last 12 games, are 4-9 vs spread in last 13 home games. Indiana lost four of last five games, with three of last four going over total. Pacers are 6-10 in last 16 road games. Three of last four Jazz tilts went under.

    Surging Grizzlies won last four games (3-1 vs spread), as they won at Clippers last night, despite being -19 off the boards, and Clips shooting 53%. Sacramento are 5-10 last fifteen games, are 4-5 since Webber trade, 4-13-1 vs spread in their last eighteen games.

    Rockets just 2-4 in last six games, with first loss of those four 87-85 at home vs Seattle two weeks ago; in last 16 games, over is 9-6-1, but under is 7-1 in last eight Sonic games, with Seattle 6-2 in those games- they covered 10 of their last 13 games overall.
