  • A BIG night in Milwaukee

YTD: 40-44 -6.4 units (hit my first 3* of the year last nite but lost my 2* by one point)
    3* 1-0
    2* 2-2
    1* 37-42
    NBA 38-42
    College 2-2

    1* Bucks -9
Milwaukee beat the Bulls Sat nite at home and played very well against the same team last nite in Chicago (costing me a 2* win). Atlanta is death on the road---2-28 SU and an awful 10-20 ATS. Bad scheduling spot for Atlanta. They played seven road games in a row, only to return home for one game (a one point loss) and return to the road again. Bucks, on the other hand, have been essentially home for more than a week as the Chicago game is just a bus ride.

    1* Wisconsin-Milwaukee -9
Weird, both plays are on home teams in Milwaukee and both are favored by 9 and the games are played next door to one another. I like this one a lot. Wis-Mil is a veteran team that dominated the Horizon League. They're on a huge roll and are killing teams. Wis-Mil's coach, Pearl, is the best in the league and a major motivator. Wis-Mil won reg season title last year, only to lose the conference tourney and be denied an NCAA bid. Pearl has stressed this ALL YEAR. Detroit is playing okay but is here only because the rest of the league is very weak this year. Wis-Mil's only home loss of year was to Detroit but they came back and smacked Detroit on the road so I consider the home loss an aberration. I only post a few college plays so I'm only making this a 1* but I think Wis-Mil wins by at least 15 and maybe a lot more.

    Opinions only: Sixers, Kings
