Niagra opened at pk, up to 3.5 with 70% on them... Looks like Niagra may be small play since the line jumped 3.5 points.

Usually means they got a huge bet on the otherside, smart money. Also Vegas could try to bait you in on a team. Hope this helps.

first off...not bustin jimmy's balls...but I would be careful assuming the MONEY is on them. I believe the percentage of BETS on each side but don't know about the money.

To answer your question, theoretically, when most of the money is on one side, and the line moves the opposite way, this is done by the oddsmakers to make the popular side more enticing and hoping to get more bets on it. Or it could mean the SMART money is on the non-popular side. WHat I take from that is the oddsmakers know more than I do and if they drop a line with most bets on it, they are doing it for a reason. Know what I'm sayin? It's a logical way to cap, especially at this time of year.

Anyone else can add or disagree with what I'm saying.
