  • St. Marys ingame, and pregame discussion!!

St. Marys here.. Looking to cap off a solid night. Dont think Santa Clara will stick with them.. I do believe it is at Santa Clara, but the Gaels will prevail..

The Gaels and Zags are destined to be in the Championship game. Gonzo didn't play well the last few games and see what they did when it was time to step up.

Does Anyone think a win today by the Gaels gets them an atlarge in the tourney? I do, and should give them more to play for..

Check other post the play is over and and a smaller +3 bet on Santa Clara. Got knocked off a 3 1/2. Over at 141. 7-3 and 5-0 in last games by both on the over. Good Luck

The day has been all about upsets today and with Santa Clara playing at home. Why Not?

Santa Clara beat N.C. by double digits and i don't care if it was with Felton or not, or early in the season. THEY BEAT CAROLINA BY DD!

Santa Clara also beat Stanford by 10 and lost at Pacific by only 6.

They lost at Arizona St by just 5 and only lost by 4 here at home against power house Gonzaga.

They are a much better team than their record.

They also beat St Mary's twice this year by 23 & 2 points. I know it's hard to do it 3 times in a season but at home with some obvious good match ups we have just as good a chance as any with the Home team here.

Now let's look a little closer at Santa Clara in addition to what Wayne posted.

Lost to Central Connecticut State by 12 at home. (Central who?)
Lost to Yale by 6 at home
Lost to BYU(BYU is an incredibly lousy team)
Lost two out of their last 3 to two crappy teams(San Diego and San Francisco)
Their home record this year is a lousy 7-9

Regarding their 20 plus point win over St Mary's way back in January. St Mary's shot 26% from the field that night. Any team that shoots that bad will get blown out. They haven't shot near that bad in any other game.

Just thought I'd add some useless info to this thread and bust Wayne's balls a little bit. J/k

                GL on the game guys.

My point was simple. If they come to play and are motivated than they have proven to be more than capable of winning this home game!!!!!

St Mary's also lost that game by 23 AT HOME! I don't care what you shoot, that's a disgrace!

Most of todays games that I saw were controlled by the refs to keep the game close. Alot of hacking went on When one team took a big lead, the refs made some wild calls and the other teams got back into the game. I say alot of that today. I think it's so more teams in some conferences can get in!
Just my opinon, but it was pretty obvious.

The refs are calling some serious BS fouls on St Mary's. Anybody else watching this?
