Saturday slate rolled to a 5-1 finish as the lone loser, Wofford, literally had to stop scoring in the last six minutes not to cover. Nonetheless, the solid day helps our bankroll, and I am looking to pocket more coin on the seven selections that are detailed below.
Ohio State -2
The Buckeyes have been a prolific home coverer this season, going 11-2-2 ATS in front of the home patrons. Wisconsin has been a bookmakers delight this season, going 12-11-1 ATS overall and 4-5-1 ATS on the road. Backing the Buckeyes in this spot as the Badgers have yet to come through with a win in a tough spot.
Xavier -6
Playing Xavier team that appears to be coming into their own as the season winds down. This team got huge win over GW during the week, and now travel to play LaSalle team that is floundering. While Xavier's 4-4 ATS mark away from home is not impressive, I like playing against LaSalle's 2-8-1 ATS record at home. Laying the points and looking for double digit Xavier win.
Florida State +5
Clemson is ACC bottom dweller for a reason. Even with their road win at Maryland, which seems a minor miracle, this Tiger team has serious drawbacks. First drawback, they have accumulated a meager 3-8 ATS record at home, and have managed to squeak out only a pair of home wins. Florida State has managed, to their credit, a 7-4 record ATS away from home and this is a game i would not be surprised to see them win.
UCLA +6
Bruins have amassed quite simply a nice ATS record this season (15-7 overall/9-1 on the road). This is a big game for both teams as they try to put together a resume worthy of an NCAA at-large bid. Notre Dame continues to struggle with the cover at home (4-6 ATS), and with that fact in mind I am playing the Bruins in this game.
Wright State -3.5
My numbers show this spread to be low, and they may be due to the fact that Wisconsin-GB has put together an 8-3 ATS road record. Wright State does have a sparkling 8-4 ATS home mark, and they should be able to produce a win for the home fans today.
Oklahoma State +4
Cowboys are coming off a shocking road loss to Nebraska, and were probably looking ahead to this game today. Hopefully, that game will inspire a better effort for Ok State today. Even with that loss, Ok State has winning ATS record on the road (6-4). Kansas has played some ugly games at home, and that is shown in their 5-9 ATS mark in front of the fans at Lawrence. The four points in this game are too attractive to pass up.
North Carolina -6.5
I suppose this number is low due to the possibility that McCants will not be present. While the Tarheel machine is less effective on the road (17-8 overall/6-5 road), they still appear to be in solid groove. Their only two losses in conference are on the road, but they were at Duke and Wake Forest. Maryland is struggling to find consistency, as they beaten Duke twice but never had the lead at home versus Clemson. Maryland is 6-3 ATS at home, but I'm confident of a double digit road win for the Heels in this spot.
GOOD LUCK!!!
