those odds are terrible, it is 100% foxx wins best actor......best oicture is probably 55% chance million dollar baby, 40% chance aviator, 5% sideways......ray has a 0% chance

best director is 50-50 between scorcese and eastwood, nobody has else a chance

also those combo bets that are +1000 or +2000 should all be about +1000000.none of those combo bets have any chance to win

freeman is a good bet at -333..........foxx is a good bet even at 1/50..............blanchett should win but that is always the suprise category.........do not fall into any of those combo bets

OK, here ya go....

as i approach my 0-5 day in basketball, those of you who have these academy awards odds can get it back::

Cinematography--->aviator is the favorite but not a lock, may be worth a shot if the odds are under -200.......problem is, i cannot see anything else but 'a very long engagement' beating it...i will be suprised if they give anything to 'passion'......unlikely 'house of daggers' gets it as it was not even nominated for best foreign film.....

Art Direction--->aviator will win this award, not quite as much of a lock as some others, but worth betting at -200 or less, it is a close call at -300

Costume Desgin--->lock for aviator, line should be -1500 and i see 2 people here with -150 and -185 respectfully......unload, nothing else really can win except a very very very outside shot that lemony snicket wins

Sound Mixing---->ray has a slight edge here over both the aviator and spider man 2......common sense says ray will get it because after all, the movie is about sound, aviator could also get it in an 'aviator sweep', and spider man 2 also has a shot because they have to give this movie something, but it will likely win its award in visual effects...i see one of you has 'ray' at +325, you have to take a shot there

Best Animated Film---->biggest lock in the history of the awards, odds should be 1/1,000,000,000,000,000, and even then still worth betting, 'the incredibles' cannot lose

Best adapted screenplay--->sideways is a near lock but do not bet it at -1200 or -1000..........if million dollar baby sweeps the big 4 categories (which i think it will, but for best actor), it may also win this, unlikely , but possible, stay away

Best Documentary--->born into brothels is the clear favorite, but i would only bet it at even odds or better........super size me was outstanding and supposedly, the other 3 were good..........brothels should win though

Best Film Editing---->aviator again a near lock, but in an awards ceremony that is really 'aviator vs million dollar baby', i guess they can give million dollar baby this award.......i would not count on it though, so take aviator at -250 or better

Best Foreign Film---->i am on the verge of saying 'sea inside' cant lose because it was considered for best movie and its main actor was up for golden globe and probably would have been nominated for best actor if there were 6 nominations......-300 are good odds, it is worth betting.....'the chorus' was very well-liked too but i cannot see it winning

best Original score----.finding neverland cant lose, odds should be 1/30,one of you has it at -250, the other at -350, bet mercilessly on it

Best original screenplay--->eternal sunshine should be about -450, like i see it is at one of your sites.......at -110, it is a must bet........i guess it can lose to 3 of the other 4, but it would be a monumental upset if it does

Best song--->totally up in the air, if you want me to guess, i will say 'shrek 2' song, but i wouldnt bet on it

i hope some people were able to bet on this.........i do not like to toot my own horn, and i never will do it in sports, but i like to think i am as good at predicting these award shows as anyone, anywhere..and here i predicted almost every award correctly........this is usually the case for all award shows, it is the easiest way to make money out there
