NBA
5 STAR: Minnesota (-2) OVER LA CLIPPERS
The T-Wolves have been a disaster this season, but I like them here in this spot. Minnesota did go into the All-Star break on a two game winning streak and they are up against a Clippers team that is playing their first home game after a nine game road trip. After starting their trip with a nice win at Memphis, the Clips dropped the next eight games and were 3-5 against the spread in those games. This has been a very good match up for Minnesota in the past as the T-Wolves are 9-1 straight up and 7-3 against the spread over the last three seasons against the Clippers. These are the games that Minnesota must have if they are to make the playoffs, I'll lay the points here!
2004/2005 NBA RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 13-6 (+32.0 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 17-11 (+15.7 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 58-51-2 (+7.0 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 58-32-2 (+23.0 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 145-100-4 (+77.7 UNITS)
A $100 player would be up $7770
NCAA Hoops
2 STAR: LOYOLA-MARYLAND (-3) OVER Sienna
Siena has dominated this series for years, but Loyola already beat Siena on the road earlier this season, and I look for them to sweep the series here at home. The Saints upset Rider in their last game, but overall they have been terrible suffering through a 5-22 season. Loyola is playing pretty well right now. After a three game winning streak, they have dropped two straight games on the road, but are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games. This is the final home game for four graduating Seniors and I look for them to have a strong game at home. Siena is 3-6 against the spread on the road, 1-4 against the spread when seeking revenge this season and just 3-10 against the spread against teams with losing records. Lay the points here!
2004/2005 NCAA BASKETBALL RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 10-12 (-15.7 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 40-29-1 (+18.0 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 51-50 (-4.8 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 63-41-3 (+19.8 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 164-133-4 (+17.3 UNITS)
A $100 player would be up $1730
