That's how I could best describe what happened last night
1-3 I should have known when I saw I was butting heads with some Big Guns here.
Anyway.....
I'm going to take a shot with 5 dogs before jumping into my beloved Southern Conference.
Purdue +7' over Indiana
NC State +7' over North Carolina
Evansville +13 over Creighton
LSU +1 over Alabama
So Florida +12' over Depaul
In the SoCon....
Appalachian St -12 over Western Carolina
App St. beat this team on the road by 3 their last time. In that game App was down by 8 in the first half aand came back to lead by 8 late in the second.
The early deficit was a direct result of WC uncharacteristically shooting 50% in the first half. WC also had the luxury of a slight FT advantage of +6. This is a regionally televised game Rivalry, that the Mountaineers want to win in order to secure a bye in the first round of the SoCon Tourney. Not to mention This is their first game after a loss that ended a 7 game win streak. That's where we get value. In the Loss UNC G shot 65% in the first half and 62% for the game.
UNC Greeensboro -8 over Elon
Usually I would lean towards playing against a team that shot incredibley in their last game, gut Greensboro is staying at home and being visited by a bad D. I look for them to stay hot, not 60%, but hot. Elon's offensive troubles will aid in this possibly getting out of hand.
I like these two and will be playing a rare parlay with them.
I am getting a little aggressive here, eventhough I haven't exactly been "consistent" lately.
