Free Winners for Thursday, March 6
    NCAA BASKETBALL
    Rutgers @ St John's
    Pick: Rutgers +6
    Time: 7:30 PM EST

Today the National Sports Advisors look for Rutgers to cover as +6 point underdogs, when they take on St John's in the Madison Square Garden tonight.

Rutgers enters tonight's game with an overall record of 12-14, including just 4-12 in Big East conference play. The Scarlet Knights are coming into tonight's matchup riding high, after saturday's 95-82 win over Notre Dame. Rutgers has lost six games in a row to St John's and is just 2-8 on the road.

St John's comes into tonight's game feeling good about themselves, after sunday's highly emotional and dramatic comeback victory over Duke. The win improved SJU's overall record to 13-12 on the season. The Red Storm have had a dissapointing season despite the win over Duke, as they come into tonight's game with just a 5-9 record in Big East play.

So why RUTGERS? Well, tonight's line is just a little too high for the inconsistent Red Storm. Let's not forget that St John's was dominated in that Duke game until a big flurry at the end. St John's has lost seven of their last ten games, with the three wins coming by 3 points or less. Look for Rutgers to keep this one close and cover against the spread, if not win outright

    **Thursday's Free Selection: Rutgers +6.5**

TRENDS/ANGLES: The Warriors are 7-2 against the spread in the past

last eight outings. The Warriors are 17-8 against the
number on the road. Golden State is scoring and allowing
101 points per games. The over is 34-23 for the Warriors.
Golden State is 16-6 straight-up and 15-7 against the
spread versus Eastern Conference opponents. The over is
15-7 when the Warriors play a team from the East. Golden

    SEAN MICHAELS

Speaking of winners, you got another free one last night with Ohio State. I'm now on a 9-2 run with freebies, including three in a row!

Tonight, I'm backing Hawaii in revenge at home against Boise State.

The Rainbows return home after a 1-2 road trip that started with such promise when they upset Kent, 79-78, as a seven-point road dog in one of those Bracket Buster games two weeks back. But, they followed that performance with crushing road losses at Tulsa and Rice by 25 and 17 points, respectively.

Hawaii returns home tonight for the first time since February 17. The 'Bows are 13-1 SU and 8-4 ATS on their home floor.

Boise closed the home portion of its schedule with a 23-point rout of a slumping Louisiana Tech team on Saturday. For a team that's 12-14 on the year and going nowhere, this is a rewarding trip.

Picture it...You're 19 or 20, freezing your ass off in Boise, and now you get to play at Hawaii at season's end. Hmmm. Tough, tough choices - Beaches, blondes, bikinis or worring whether your 2-3 zone is going to slow down Hawaii. Are you kidding me?

Boise won the first meeting in overtime, 65-63, on January 4. But Hawaii gave the Broncos the game by committing 23 turnovers.

Boise is in the throes of a 2-5 SU and ATS slide, and the Broncos have lost three of their last four on the road.

    Hawaii hammers them in revenge!
    GOOD LUCK ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

      LT Profits
      Today's Pick: CHICAGO BULLS
      National Basketball Association Action
      Thursday, March 6, 2003 (8:30 ET)
Golden State Warriors @ Chicago Bulls

The current line on this contest is Golden State –3 ½. The Warriors are a surprising 30-30 S/U on the season, as well as a very profitable 37-21-2, 63.8% ATS.

That being said, this looks like a treacherous spot for them as a road favorite. This organization has been down in the dumps for so long, they actually consider it an accomplishment being at .500 this late in the year. They may now have a natural letdown after reaching that modest goal, especially vs. a Bulls team that they now feel they are clearly superior too. Keep in mind also that Golden State is still just 11-18 S/U on the road, and this is the most points they have been favored by on the road this year.

The Bulls have also been a pleasant surprise at home this season, where they are 18-11 S/U and 16-12, 57.1% ATS. They have also won their last 5 home games vs. the Western Conference OUTRIGHT, knocking off such notables as Portland, Utah, and Phoenix. Sure, Chicago has struggled on offense lately, but they have had no trouble scoring vs. the West at home, averaging 98.4 points per game, and they are now facing arguably the worst defense in the NBA.

LT PROFITS SPORTS recommends a play on CHICAGO +3 ½ in tonight’s contest

      Bonus selection:

      PHILADELPHIA/PORTLAND UNDER 194 (TNT - 10:00 ET)
