Big Monday is offering some excellent choices for plays, and I hope to find sucess from the handicapping I've put it on the slate tonight.
I am making five plays on the action tonight, and here they are...
Notre Dame +6.5
Notre Dame has done its best work on the road this season, and nothing points this fact out better than a perfect 9-0 ATS mark on the opposition's court. UConn has posted a solid 6-4 ATS effort in Storrs, but I am going to play the visiting underdog from South Bend in this game.
Oklahoma +1
Sooners are hosting a shocked Jayhawks team that was denied a home win by a less than stellar Cyclones squad on Saturday. Oklahoma does not have a great ATS record at home (4-5), but most of those results came as the Sooners were laying serious chalk. Take the point and the home side in this one.
New Mexico Pick
Taking the Lobos in this game despite the fact they are playing the first place and undefeated conference leaders Utah. Utah is 11-0 in league play, but they are going to face their toughest test of the season as they travel to "The Pit". Playing New Mexico and I expect a win out of these guys tonight.
UNLV Pick
Taking the Rebels in a matchup of two struggling teams in the Mountain West. UNLV while only 4-6 in the conference, and 12-11 overall, are a very nice 6-3 ATS in games played away from the Vegas lights. The Rams are 2-9 in the league and their play of late suggests that they may not be mentally ready to finish the season with a strong effort.
Wofford -2.5
Ga Southern on paper would appear to be the easy choice in this game, and here are my reasons why they are not. First, they have an awful 1-5 ATS mark when they play away from home. The Terriers have posted some nice home wins, including one against Charleston last week. Take Wofford and expect the home fans to exit with a smile on their collective faces.
