Explanation: The Cowboys of Wyoming had their 4-game home winning streak snapped losing to UNLV here Saturday, and we feel that they are in for another tough tussle tonight. San Diego State may be just 9-13 S/U overall including 3-6 on the road, but they have hung tough in their road affairs going 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games away from home. The Aztecs are 2-3 S/U on the road in conference play while losing by an average of 4.8 points, a figure that would be good enough to grab the cash here. Also, San Diego State is one of the few road teams that has had success here in Casper, going a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four visits including two outright upsets. The Cowboys are usually very tough on their home court, and while they are a very respectable 10-4 S/U here this year, they have not been as dominant as in past seasons. They are only winning their home games by an average of 5.5 points overall, and that AMOV drops all the way down to a scant +2.0 points in home conference play. We are expecting more of the same tonight, with this game going down to the final buzzer.

The Kansas Jayshawks enter this contest having lost two straight contests to Big 12 conference opponents Texas Tech 79-80 on the road in OT and than to Iowa State 61-63 on home court. Both performances were uninspired and put a question mark on the capability of the program to return to championship form. With that said you can bet the Jayhawks will be out to prove the naysayers and prognosticators wrong tonight against a Oklahoma program that has also been in down mode of late losing 5 of their L/6 ATS. Note: Before the Jayhawks re-cent slump they had won 11 of 12 straight up and were a bank roll friendly 8-4 ATS over that span. Look for Kansas to return to that winning form tonight in what I believe is a must win situation. Final note: Kansas is 2-1 SU/ATS L/3 at Norman

Utah has won 18 games in a row, but this is the Utes toughest test since their last defeat at Arizona on December 11th. Utah beat New Mexico 69-58 at home, but Lobos apply to a very good 56-15-3 ATS home revenge situation that has won 8 straight times going back to last season. However, New Mexico isn’t quite as good without pointguard Kris Collins and Utah is playing at a very high level. My ratings favor the Utes by 3 ½ points and the negative line value is too much to make New Mexico a Best Bet. However, the Lobos still have a profitable 56% chance of covering at the current line of +1 ½ points, which is good enough to make them an opinion.
