Notre Dame is set to meet the Connecticut Huskies tonight at
the Hartford Civic Center for a 7:00pm Big East Tip-Off, which
will bring their 2-game Road Trip to an end. The Irish come in
at just 1-4 SU their last 5 Away, with the lone 62-61 victory
a nailbiter at Providence on Saturday. Still, ND has been golden
on the Road for their Backers, posting a perfect 7-0 ATS mark.
At the same time, the Huskies find themselves in very familiar
territory after losing on Jan 30, 78-74 at Notre Dame. UConn
lost at ND last year as well, and then shifted into O.D. for their
National Title Run. Coming off their 85-63 rout at Rutgers
Saturday night, Calhoun's boys are beginning to hit their stride
again. In addition, the Huskies are Ranked #7 in the nation in
defending the 3-pointer, which should pose a major concern for
all Irish Backers tonight, since ND for the most part, lives and
dies with their Perimeter game. Over the last 5 outings, UConn
has held their opponents to under 5 Treys per game.
Jump on the Huskies laying the 6.5 as they'll get their sweet
Revenge at Home, much like last year.

The Pit provides New Mexico one of the best, if not the best, home court advantages in college baskets. This place will be rockin' as Moutain West leading Utah Utes come to town. New Mexico is 16-1 at home this season and will be ready to send Utah packing. The Lobos are athetically the only Mountain West team that can matchup with Utah. They are strong at the Forward and Guard positions and have what it takes to win this game. They are well rested, hosting their third straight home game and they do well in this situation (they're 7-0 ATS after playing 2 consecutive home games this season). Utah's strength is defense but New Mexico lights it up at home, putting up over 83 points per game in the Pit. Look for New Mexico to end Utah's 11-0 conference record. One star on New Mexico to cover and probably win.
