Thanks guys for posting to help open our eyes to the games that go on in this business. I have followed and believe I understand the basics about traps but overall Has it been shown that generally - a team that has the public on them loses more than not? Thank you for your response ahead of time.

              Spearit,

The point of this information is this:

              1. The general public DOES NOT win over a long period in sports gambling, or else the bookies and casinos wouldn't be in business.

              2. This info. is showing that if a high percentage of the public or money is on one side and the line is moving opposite, then you should go with the opposite. Gotta ask yourself why is the line moving the wrong way when EVERYONE is on the other side. That's because 80% of the time, it's a trap!

              Hope this helps

Not really. The public wins like 50% of the time, you just have to watch the line movements. If the public is on say Arizona State, which 57% of them are, and the line moves from -4.5 to 6.5 like it did. The right choice would be to go with the public, or layoff. The books are trying hard for money the other way.
