N. Carolina open -24, now 22 with 61% on them
Bowl Green open -5 now 4.5 with 74% on them
Iowa open -2, now 1 with 77% on them
Oklahoma open -12, now 11.5 with 67% on them
Alabama open -8.5 down to 7 with 73% on them
NC State open -2.5, line stale with 67% on Maryland
UTEP open -8, line stale with 98% on them
If the percentage is high with people betting on them,do you go against or what?
If the public is pounding a team, and the line stays the same, go against the public. If the public is all over the favorite at lets say -7, and the line drops, take the underdog. If the public is all over the underdog at -7, and the line goes up, go with the favorite. Helps you avoid "traps".
It's a service called Sports Insights and they have a relationship with certain books that relay the betting data to them. It's not a bad service to have if you're a frequent bettor. I tend to look for the trends mentioned here, plus watching for huge rises or drops in the graphs which indicate major money movements, those have been pretty reliable lately. I don't buy their premium picks, but their NBA wiseguy plays have gone 7-3 this month.
I have another stupid question? If SPORTBOOKS are providing this info:1-How do you know it is accurate and not another trap into betting the wrong way?
2-If the info is accurate why would they provide it when they know you are going to be betting the right side?

Sorry, just peculiar and suspicious to me?
They provide the information. Because most people don't know how to use it, and they know that. Also they know that the public wins around 45 to 50 % of the time.
If you don't read it right you will be in the same boat has the public.
GL Jimmy and thats some good information you provide to the forum

No problem Homer. That is right, most people dont know how to use this. Im sure alot just look at the %'s, and not the linemovement. If they do that, then they lose alot. I also bet the sportsbook might get a little cash from all the sales sports insight gets. Maybe not, but possible.
