nice wednesday card after a dreadful tuesday which i deserved to go 0-3........so i pouted, swore i was not going to post for a week and here we are........the thoughest part about posting here is showing your face after an 0-3 day!!!
10* Old dominion (-1.5) at geo. mason--->i think we get alittle bit of line value here out of the fact that ODU lost on the orad to a VCU team that basically has the same conference and overall record as Geo. Mas.......but if you watched that game, ODU was terrible and VCU has been playing much better recently.......23-3 ODU should not lose another game until the big dance
10* Clemson (-13.5) vs. Georgia--->a little skeptical here giving so many points in a somewhat meaningless game but horrible georgia seems to get killed in every game where the opponent tries........at 11-12, i gues clemson still has a shot at the NIT, at least a winning record and even in last in teh ACC, is much better than this group of clowns, who may also be short-handed
10* Richmond (+9.5) at St. Josephs---->one of the weirdest teams around, st. josephs is 9-1 in the average A-10, and richmond is coming off a blowout loss at GW........9.5 points a little too much against a richmond team who has shown the ability to show up on the road
10* Iowa (-1) at Purdue--->usually this is the kind of game where i would take purdue..........iowa is in a must win and purdue is at home with nothing to lose........not a bad scenario for purdue , but i cannot overlook that purdue's only 2 conference wins are home michigan and home penn state and although the loss of pierre is bad, it is not devastating, so i expect iowa to win here
Shocker of the season Not a 10* but close----->UCSB (+16) at Pacific--->i know, this could be proof that i have totally lost my mind, having not picked against Pacific EVER on this board, but last time out was as emotional as it gets for Pacific and now a less than average team comes in where the home team knows they are going to the tourney, probably looking at that AP ranking and just does what it takes and probably wins by less than 16
good luck
