  • Question about Round Robin Parlays???

I think that is what they are called. I think I understand the concept but could somebody, in english, explain them. Also does anybody play them. Just wondering if they are a bettor chance then a normal parlay...HELL I don't know just looking for some info

    thanks

Team A & B Team A & C and Team B & C. You can win one two or all three cames or you can lose all three.

This is how they work to the best of my knowledge...

You pick 3 teams or over/unders and put them in a "round round" What you are doing is betting 3----two team parlays.

Ex.....Say you take Team A, Team D & Team X and you put them in a $100 round robin.

      3 Parlays would be:
      Team A & Team D
      Team A & Team X
      Team D & Team X

If you win 0 or 1 sides you would lose $300.
If you win 2 sides you would win $50
If you won all 3 sides you would win $750

In reality you need to win 2 out of the 3 to end up ahead. There may be other variations. Hope this is helpful and accurate.

You are better off playing a round robin reverse you get better odds,
if all 3 teams win for a 100 dollar bet you would win $1,200. If 2 teams win
          you would still win $180.

Its the only way I ever parlay. we call it a box.
            A AND B
            A AND C
            B AND C
our locals only pay 12 to 5

So if I have capped some games and I have 3 that I feel are strong, is it worth a play to "box" in a parlay?

I don't play many parlays and I have been betting for more than 20 years, I just have never used these before so I was curious. Thanks for the info guys. I might "box" a couple tonight to see what happans

i used to do round robins in baseball about 3 years ago, and then follow it up with a 3 teamer.

if it hits, i would win like $9,500 just with those 3 games......but they RARELY do.

yea, i was taking them for $500 each. you lose all 3 and the 3 teamer and its -$2,000 on the day. i had a few of those. they're just not worth it.

parlays and teasers are the worst bet in sports gambling. ask any professional gambler.
