10* (GOM) Northern Iowa (E) at Illinois state---->what does it take to be a GOM?? every one of my situations has to be in play and they are here...illijnois state has been having a much better than expected season and had the league's best team at home less that 48 hours ago and got whitewashed in what was probably the biggest game for them in years, so it will be hard to get up for this, even at home....now throw in the fact that there best player, Gordon, is questioanble for the game........taking on a norther iowa team who has not played well , going 4-5 in their last 9 after a good start, but is at least playing for conference tourney seeding which is important in this confernce......a careful look at ill. state schedule shows they have beaten up on the bad teams and faired very poorly against the good ones
10* Rochmond (+12.5) at George Washington----->GW seems to be back in gear but these are richmond's best spots, getting double digit points on the road........as i have stressed for the last 3 weeks, at this point in the season, teams like GW just happy to pile up wins to get to the tourney..richmond should come out and play hard and close
10* LSU (+7) at Arkansas --->slowly improving LSU team should play this one close.....7 points too much in tough conference game that like GW,, arkansas will be happy just to win
10* Marquette (-2.5) at East Carolina---->never fun giving anyone points on the road but well coached and healthier marqutte should get this game against the conference's worst team
10* Rhode island (-4.5) at St bonny--->as i have said many times, on principle, when a team is favored by such a small amount vs. the worst team in the country, you take, them, even if it is rhode island, who sucks too
10* Duke (-3.5) at Maryland--->hard to play on, or against the nations weirdest team, maryland.....i know this is youth and i know everyone thinks duke will have a let down after the unc win, leaving this the perfect spot for maryland, which of course, is why i like duke
10* (and last but not least) Pacific (+9) at Utah state-->be careful here because admittedly, and this has happened to me a couple times this year and it has burned us, but this line has gone from 6 to 9 in the last hour, so check into this before playing it.......either pacific's whole team has the flu, the starting 5 has all been suspended, or the big west has told pacific they can only play with 3 players because this is the most ridiculous line i have ever seen.......anything short of something really drastic, pound this game
