Cinci has NEVER covered as a favorite in a marquee game. They always get up big, but then get conservative and miss free throws. Year after year this happens. I am f-ing convinced that the coach FIXES games, he even looks like a mobster. Please, this shit happens WAY too often for it to be coincidence. Give me a f-ing break, those guys were throwing up BRICKS from the damn foul line, then not attempting shots from right under the basket at the end of the game!

If it smells like a skunk it most likely is one and you've seen enough games to suspect the shaves. Trust your instincts - maybe that Huggins is a no good louse.
I never bet football games where there is a Bowden coaching ... either Bobby or his half wit son ... for that very reason.

I can't imagine Huggins telling his players on the court with a few minutes remaining in the game to start missing free throws.
Cincy plays at a very high level. Mix that with playing on TV it's possible they were worn down. Tired legs = missed shots including free throws.
Everytime there's a bad loss for a gambler they are screaming fix. If the game was fixed that often we'd hear about it.Comment

all i can say is that before tipoff spread went to -13 on bodog and you could buy it down to -12 which still would not have mattered, game was also circled and you could not tease it. I also went against my no teaser rule and had the lakers +17 an under 189, they lose by 22, just enough points to ruin a 10 pt teaser if you had one. All I can say is if games are fixed, than everyone is in on it and they make this agreement on threat of death if they tell, and they all get rich.. LOL Maybe I'm just pissed at my first 0-2 night in a long timeComment

OK here's the deal ...
Last year ESPN reported that 5% of all college athletes bet on sporting events. That means the rate is closer to 25% . Let's give a big benefit of the doubt and call it 15%.
One out of every 6-7 college games on the board is being bet by players.
Let's get real here - Crime is everywhere.
Here's a nice little story :
When the venerable Adoph Rupp was coaching Kentucky -- 5 minutes before the game started he would gesture to a certain section of the stands where all his " Blue Blood ' alumni were seated. Within seconds after that they would scramble to the phones.
A golfing buddy and good friend of mine who works on Wall Street was one of the regulars in Rupp's little priviledged clique.
Please let's not discuss fixes - Certain games are cooked and let's leave it at that .Comment

Manye the Cinn. coach is taking a cue from the Lakers; certain players on that team(Lakers) abetted by officials have been up to no good in many games especially late when either the ats winner of the game and/or total is up for grabs.
As I have stated on many occasions, I have seen too many suspicious things occur during the last three years to think it is merely coincidence; I fully believe it happens with other NBA teams also and definitely in college. jmhoComment

You guys have to be pretty naive to think some games are not fixed. Look at our society in general, and the behind the scenes kickbacks, bribes, lobbyiests, special interest groups, greedy politicians, organized crime, white collar criminals bilking tens of thousands of investors....I could go on, but whats the point, this is the shit that goes on in the real world, and you think these athletes(and we know some are cheaters, steroid takers, drug addicts, murderes and such) are above all this? Doubtful, for every guy trying to do the right thing, there are 5 more guys looking to screw someone, and it all boils down to one thing, money. and in sports there is a lot of money changing hands, and someone will always come out on topComment
