2-1-1 in the Southern Conference yesterday
Today I will take a stand in the SoCon again...
UNC Greensboro +1' over Georgia Southern
GS is coming in off an impressive 18 point home win over Furman. In that game they shot an incredible 49%.
UNC G is coming off a 9 point home loss to SoCon's best Davidson. UNC shot only 38% from the field and turned the ball over 22 times. They shot 22 3-pointers. That is not their normal style of play. They avg 14 3-pt att per game which is 25% of their field goal attempts not the 38% they took. This tells me they were forced out of their game plan. So to only lose by 9 after a 5 day layoff doesn't look so bad to me.
GS is not as strong on the road as they are at home. I look for them to regress a bit from their last outing and Greensboro to improve off theirs.
