2005 MLB “TEAM” BALL

Cost: $25.00

All your biggest decisions will be made before the season starts. You will have 9 Teams, one from each inning (group) below. There will be No Trades or Changes once the season starts. Standings sheets will be out each week and all you have to do is watch the path your team travels. The groups below are very equal in strength and talent so make the right choices to gain the top spot in the standings. All games through the World Series count. If your teams do not make the playoffs then you could lose ground, or if others get swept you may gain on them. This is our 2nd year with this pool and last year went right down to the wire!

Scoring

Team Win = +5 pts.
Runs Scored = +1 pt.
Runs Against = - 1 pt.
Home Runs = +1 pt.

Bonus Pts.

No Hitter = +25 pts.
World Series Winner = +25 pts.


After the World Series the points will be added and a champion will be crowned! Payouts will be decided when total number of players is determined. We had about 50 people in it last year. Draft your teams and turn them in before the season starts on Sunday April 3rd.

Homer, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY is talking about hockey or the Bruins up here. Nobody cares and Hockey might have alot of trouble getting their fans back. The game is simply not as popular as the Other Major Sports and they better be careful!
