Opinion on a "service"...

The first online cappers i used were a site called sportsadvisors.com.... they were not bad last NBA playoffs and MLB for a while..... i get one capper Trace Adams picks somehow without paying for them (shhhhhhh!) and i paid for a small package for Matt Rivers.... Yesterday Matt had his 500K "lock of my life" he says he's 12-4-1 with these, on Providence, a 300k play on UMass which lost by 1/2 point, and a smaller play on Florida.... Trace had 1500* plays (5000* his highest) on Michigan St, George Washington, 1000*s on Providence, Texas Tech (all w's) and the Bulls.... both Matt's 500K lock and Traces 5000* SB play is..... maybe this belongs in the service thread, i shouldn't reveal who it is here, but it isn't the team named after a region of the country..... I know all about services... don't know if these guys are a typical service.... just thought i'd share.....

to say it gary but you will lose money in the long run following services!

The ONLY reason I say that is that it is not hard enough to nail winning days after day in a week on just playing Vegas juice but NOW YOU are paying for plays that lose plus the juice.

Not slamming these guys or anyone but PAYING FOR PLAYS IS A LOSING PROPOSITION IN THE LONG RUN. Most of these guys are PAID BY VEGAS TO PUT OUT PLAYS (the big services)!

WHY DO YOU THINK MOST CONSENSUS SERVICE PLAYS LOSE IN THE SERVICE SECTION???

They could care less....they have the squares moeny for the pay for plays AND Vegas money for touting the plays they are told to put out to the populace so they are guaranteed profits PLUS the juice.

I will stop now but most are only after your check and get another one besides........you lose.....they don't care...they do not know you or care about you in the least.

Service is something you get when you go to the catalog department at JC Penny.

Every Service and I say Every Single Service will not, I REPEAT WILL NOT win CONSISTANTLY Above 57%. Sure they'll have their incredible runs etc and they may be hot for a year but not every year, and I haven't seen but maybe 4-5 cappers have back to back winning years. Most cappers can win in college but get drilled in the Pro's or vice versa in Hoops...etc..

I know many gents that have used paid handicappers to get plays, the group (8-10 guys) I run with is smart enough not to play every selection given by these guys. We have come in contact with about 140 - 150 paid cappers over the last 15-20 years and there is about 3 maybe 4 guys that are worth the nickle to call and none of you would even recognize their names, and it's because they can't handle anymore players. The best paid handicappers aren't taking on new people. These mass marketing rejects are BOZOS preying on degenerate gamblers that can't pick a winner in a one horse race.

Wake the Fuck Up Folks!

If you want to gamble on sports but don't have enough time to research and know the industry you shouldn't be betting on sports or anything else for that matter! In fact just understanding the industry is more important than knowing that Pepperdine was going to Fucking wack The Dons of San Fran on Thursday!


And anytime you think you're getting something for free you might be getting a decoy play so you'll move the line in favor for the bettors in the know to come along and sweep the number!

Well said, guys ... my partner FrankB has been trying to advise members about this most serious matter for a long time now and all we can do is sit there and feel very badly for all who have opposed him. We figure that the ones who protest the loudest are the service junkies who are the most hooked and sooner or later will not be able to get out from under.

Great advice from all the above posters....There are cappers on this board that will bury most services out there and their posted records on here are REAL RECORDS too!

I don't look at anything thats posted regarding their plays (and that goes for this board too) don't wanna know and don't care either!!!! I do however care and look for certain cappers on this board I've come to respect and compare their thoughts to mine.

I used to get calls out of LV trying to sell me picks, how they got my phone number is beyond me.....But they would call " Hi Carl this is asshole from LV"......That's bout as far as they get...click, I hang up...they finally got the picture and fuck'em...it's ok to be rude to them too!!!!!!!!!!

Bottom line...stay FAR away from services

It is quite funny that those 3 were his top plays....they were also SEBASTIAN SPORTS SUPERLOCKS......hmmm, i wonder if they do their own capping or do they do a little borrowing also......i smell something fishy...but save yourself the money and follow some of the better cappers here.....they (the services) can't hold a candle to them

Ever see the film " Boiler Room " ? This is the kind of operation we're talking about here.

Let's cut right down into it ... The service junkie lives for the next handout . He hangs on the service's every word. Meanwhile do you think these people actually think about their " customers " ? They sit on their fat asses with phone in one hand and pizza in the other and sell sell sell . Then after each call they make fun of the sucker that gave up his / her credit card #

The junkie spends most of his life thinking about the service and the service doesn't even know he / she exists ... what only matters is the credit card .

My friend used to be a salesman at a service . He quit after 3 months. Now he owns 3 delicatessens . Couldn't sleep nights ... Old Ladies were getting swindled left and right ... literally losing their life savings. The salesmen would play back the phone calls and have big laughs at the customer's expense. Lots of people would be crying on the phone. They busted out quite a few people and laughed at it.

Pretty sad ? You bet.

BTW - did you see the basketball records for all the services. It was posted yesterday by I forget who. Disgraceful !!! We're better off flipping a coin.

Yeah let me tell you a little story, true fact!


My partner and I we run numbers we have three guys that are placing wagers at the begining of the 2002 football season the average bet is 50$ to 100$.


They do ok they're paying some every week, I think they collected 2 times but not much. Anyway about week 5 they get connected, from where I never asked, with a guy named Brian Mac. My partner and I at that time hadn't heard of him, long story short by College Bowl season these 3 guys were wagering up to $1000 every game and we were fading them on top of accepting their money, they ended up being into us for over 12 grand! We got our money and made 3x more on top of it!

For college basketball season after they paid up they came back at us with their "Trusty Trend Book" another 5 grand later, 2 of 3 have quit gambling and are recovering from their addiction by attending GA. The other one mops our floors regularly so he can place his $10 teaser every week.


Now I singled out Brain Mac but I could give you a list of handicappers that are on our list to fade, that list is very long. The players that use a few other handicappers no worries for us except we may hedge some of it. I have had over 2 dozen players with similar stories to the one above, in fact we encourage our players to break ties along the way with their PICKERS, cause that's all these guys do is pick! It does no one any good for our guys to be so far in debt with us that we have to put them to work to collect our money!


What is my point? The point is these guys real you in like fish, in fact that's what they call you "FISH", and then they string you along over and above what you can handle, by then you are so far deep in your ass that you'll never get out! Then you go do something stupid like rob a bank or hold up a liquor store and you're going to jail.

Every young gambler pays tuition in order to learn his lessons. Some pay more than others ... some never learn at all.
