Got a question about services.
Wayne Root, Fesit, and all the other scams. DO they actually do any handicapping or are they just merely picking a game and promoting it? If this is the case then why listen to anything they say or let it influence playing a particular side. I loved FLA yesterday and almost did not play it because ROOT had it as a No Limit game.
So I guess the question is this, Would you rather listen to a handicapper that you know handicapped a game or one that just picks a game and promotes it in the direction he can best sell. I reality either it is going to cover or it's not (occassional push) 50 50 proposiion because of only two pssoible outcomes - I don't care about trends. And I don't care who ****** of back to back wins of double digits on the third Monday of a month if start time is before 9:00 pm EST when the opponent is off triple revenge and lost the previous four meetings against divisonal opponents by a combined 16 points. HUH. its still 50 - 50. I think the best one can do is acess a soft line and go with it. There are other tangibles. But if I like Oregon State and I am going to play them regardeless if a sports reporter said they did not have a good week of practice.
It's like a coin toss. I don't care if the last 50 superbowls if it came up heads. It is still a 50 50 prop at best.
Big Al goes 1-6 and the other numb nut goes 0-4. Yes I wish I would had faded them. But if they are not handicapping and just picking one to promote then why not flip a coin and take the home team if it's heads - then get a 900 number and promote that then everyoine could fade you. In this case you are fading a marketable "team" .Comment

Most everyone here knows how I feel about these services .. I have always said if you are going to follow a service pick one that is not a marketing tool .. You can find honest hard working services right here in the Service forums .. If I was going to PAY for a service I would find one in there .. I would never go with the marketing geniuses that you mentioned ... The biggest fraud they use is the GOY, LOY, GOM , no limits, unload, bookie busters and so on .. come on, any team can win on any day .. it is just a sporting event .. This is a rough game .. You have to play by their rules, their lines, their gimmicks and when you lose you have to pay them for their bookmaking .. Tough to winOriginally posted by drsho01Comment

Ripple, we are going to try to keep them seperate so people can go to see one or the other. If they read "Basketball Service Plays" and are looking in or posting for football then they are not very bright but it will probably happen. It will be back to normal Monday.Comment
