I've been following the 1st half odds in the NBA for about 1 1/2 month now. It seems like the underdogs that has +3.0 or below spread ****** about 80%. An example were last night's games, Houston +1.0, Atlanta +3.0, New Orleans +2.5, New York +3.0. The only one that covered were the Phi Pick and San Antonio -4.0. Watch the teams that are favorite of 4.5 or above, they usually cover the 1st half spread especially if the spread is above 7.0. It also depends on the favored team like Phoenix, they just like to outscore everyone.

Also, look for a team that is favored when their record is worse than the opponents record. They usually cover the 1st half spread at 75% of the time.

So, for tonight's 1st half picks will be:

Washington +1.0
Chicago +1.5
Milwaukee +2.0
Miami +1.5
Portland +2.0

Denver -5.0
Phoenix -4.0
