        Tuesday's games
        Game of the Day:
Suns @ Grizzlies-- Memphis won for 14th time in last 17 games last night, shooting 22 more FT's than New Orleans in 98-91 road win. Griz won 88-79 in Valley of Sun 13 days ago, but MVP candidate Nash was out that night, and he is straw that stirs the Suns' drink. The Suns scored 123.6 ppg in winning their last five games; their last six games went over the total.

Elsewhere, Pistons won, covered last three games by an average of 20 points; they allowed 69 ppg in those tilts, their last four games stayed under total. Detroit won at Washington, 107-105 on Dec 29. Wizards lost Saturday to Magic, their first loss in last ten home games.

Lebron expected back for Cavaliers, who are 0-6 vs the spread in game following their last six wins, and 7-9 in its last 16 road games. Orlando had bad loss at Atlanta on Monday, shooting just 38%; they failed to cover last six times they had a game the night before.

Nets are 2-0 vs Bulls this season, winning in double OT on Opening Night, then winning in Chicago 84-80 back on Dec 28. Despite that, Bulls are 19-4 in last 23 games and 19-6 vs spread in last 25. Nets covered six of last seven games, winning their last three on recent road trip; their last seven games went over the total.

Bucks lost eight of last 11 games, with three of last four going over total; they're 6-10 vs spread in last 16 road games. Minnesota had five-game win streak snapped by Sacramento team playing without Webber, Stojakovic in their last game, adding to their inconsistent nature.

Dallas lost two of last three games and covered just 3 of last ten, with last six staying under, as Mavs playing a bit slower under interim coach Johnson. Dallas beat Heat by 20 in November, in game they led 71-57 at half. Miami shot just 38% in that game, Dallas 52%.

Home debut for Karl, with Denver club that won Karl's first two games, by 6,7 points. Knicks lost another game last night, despite a 52.1% FG percentage; they're 2-13 in last 15 games; they covered two of last six on road.
