Marquette +18 over Louisville (POD) ESPN
Marquette has lost three of its last four after opening the
season 13-1.The Golden Eagles rose to No. 25 in the national rankings last
week but failed to record a victory in two conference games vs.DePaul and Charlotte.
Marquette swept both contests last season and has had surprising
success playing at Louisville. The Cardinals have lost just
eight times at Freedom Hall since the 2001-02 season, but the
Eagles have posted victories in their last three visits.

Boston College, one of three unbeaten teams remaining in
Division I, is off to its best start ever and is three
victories shy of matching the longest winning streak in school
history.
The Friars will make their second attempt to end Boston
College's streak. The Eagles posted a 69-60 victory over
Providence on January 8 behind an 18-point performance from
leading scorer Craig Smith.
It has been a struggle for Providence since then, as it fell to
0-4 in the Big East after a 72-67 loss at Rutgers on Wednesday.
Dwight Brewington scored 18 points, but preseason conference
Player of the Year Ryan Gomes was held to just 14 points for the
second straight game.
This is payback time for the Friars as they play off a loss with revenge.
