  • Who's your favorite driver and Why?

Just wondering who is everyones favorite driver. JUst to see who we got out there.
My favorite is Gordon. Stated to like him before anyone knew who he was. Back when he was w/ Bill Davis racing in the Busch Series. He was just pure raw talent back then befor Hendrick gave him the horsepower he needed to compete w/ the big boys back in the early 90's. Didn't ever think he would become the poster boy for NASCAR. And if you like it or not he is the driver that has taken over the Helm from the late and GREAT Dale Earnhardt.

    Gordon gets 5 this year!

Remember........Jimmie is Gordon's little side project. He molded him into the driver that he is and is becoming. He is going to be very good. I can't use the term great yet. You gotta prove yourself first!!

Nothing personal but I have just always had a distaste for Rusty. I respect the fact that he is your favorite driver. We all have to root for someone!! We wouldn't be nutty NASCAR fans if we all liked the same driver.

              Just for reference:
              Baseball:Mets
              Football:Giants/Jets I like college better.
              NHL: Let's go RANGERS!!!!!!!!!
              NCAA Football: FSU
              NCAA B-Ball: Seton Hall Pirates
Golf is for fags don't like anyone!!
              NBA:KNICKS

                Nitro,
                That was great
I see a definite NY pattern. I'm just taken back by FSU.

                  Driver : JJ - Johnson

WHY : 'cause he's going to win the Championship in '05 AND kick his Owners ass all over the track .

N24 - In case you've missed it Little E HAS taken over the helm , how many times have you EVER heard him get booed ? ( even when he spins himself out to bring out the yellow )
And , I have to agree w/rwall anyone that puts a lick on Jeff or Robbie G either one is ok w/me . With Robbie you have to do it out of necessity ,wreak him before he wreaks you ! As for Rusty young gun ... he IS part of what is referred to The Modern Nascar Era , along w/ Dale Earnhardt , Rudd , Martin and others Bonnet , Richmond , Gant , Kulwicki that have helped to make NASCAR what it IS TODAY ! And, that is why you CAN watch it on TV EVERY WEEK , not just 4 or 5 races a year on WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS / SPANNING THE GLOBE and THE AGONY OF DEFEAT !! Rusty can be irratating but , show him the respect due a former champion . He finished 16th in 2004 just behind Kahne and Harvick ! I look for him to DRIVE his HEART OUT on his Farewell tour and would not be suprised to see him finish in the Top 10 ... ok 11th !!
