Question For The Gamblers On This Board

im just trying this out and trying to see what ,by peoples response what they think is the best way to go at the books.
I would like to know how many games you guys play a night and also do you HAVE TO play every night or do you prefer maybe a few games a week over say like 3 to 5 games a night?

reason i am asking this is i have done it both ways and sometimes i think if i bet more on smaller amounts of games it is the best way then sometimes it seems if u bet smaller and say more games its better.

at the bottom line i want to win money and just trying to see what the most of you think the best way to beat the bookie is.

I take as many games as I like on the board. Sometimes I only take 3 games a night and sometimes like tonight I am taking 16 games, and will probably take some 2nd half plays that have value.

I don't have to take games everyday, but I DO!!! There's winners out there everyday, you just have to find them.

If you ask a professional, they'll tell you to ONLY take games you absolutely LOVE. It's hard to do that. Even if that means taking 1 game a week. NOT ME>

I average around 15-20 bets a week, 75% dogs, risking the same amount every time, and finding as many opportunities to play even money or better. (ex: Knicks +6.5 is -115 at BetJam, -106 at Pinny, but even money at Canbet)

I bet every game I like. One night in early December I had 11 plays in the NBA. I play them all or I play none. The night I had 11 selections I cut back a little on the amount I played each game.

I don't like today card. I came up with 2 small plays. I played one very small. Passed on the other.

As I stated on another thread. Most of my wagers are the same amount.

thick, I subscribe to the theory that if you hit 57-59% over hundreds (or thousands) of games (like Private Players, VSS Wins or other large volume services) then you make a ton more money than hitting 62-67% (or thereabouts) over a small number of games. I play volume, and move large when there is a really big game(s) out there to bang. I utilize a mix of services that specialize in a high number of games (like ppp and vss) as well a number of services that use a low number of games (like The Underdog, The New York Wiseguys, JB Sports and/or Executive's top plays etc). People have different theories, I guess it all depends on your personal preferences and/or money situation! I personally play alot of games, and try to find a mix of services that use high volume, as well as services that release only 1-2 games per day that way I can look at the entire board and break it down, as well as know which isolated games are the best to look at. bol to you this season

I play whatever I like in a day... typically 0-5 races, and 0-??? games depending on what I like... for example, today I am not playing any sports, but played two t-bred races and may play a couple of harness races later (depending on scratches, odds, and the post parade)... I have had days where i play nothing and days where I am laying out a decent amount to play all that I like. I stick with what works and ride it through those inevitable rough patches...

card size means zero to me. 3-5 games a night unless there is too many I cant shy away from. then 5-6 never more than 6. Just me. The less games you play the less $$$ you can possibly lose no matter how good you are. Nothing against anyone that plays alot of games every night but I'm just not that good to consistantly win. How I do it works for me. Other people might be different

i like playing an average of 3-4 plays a day...sometimes less sometimes a couple of more...3-4 a day is probably average for a week..i try to always bet the same amount each game...if i am on a winning streak i might bet a little more...bad streak a little less...guess i probably bet an average $25 a game..thats all i can afford to lose....of course WINNING always a PLUS!!!!
