          RJ,

I personally only post my own capped games. I follow a lot of different posters plays on the forum. I will normally at the most play 3 or 4 games a night.

          :D

Hope that helps you out. And I answered the question you were looking for

I find it confusing when alot of cappers are on both sides of a play, even if one has a 10*, GOY whatever on it, it's usually a good game to skip..... except when everyone is all over one side then one capper is on the opposite side (which you do quite a lot), then it's wise to go with the one capper.....

I always cap my own games mainly from Saragan Ratings and mooney movement, unless I'm working all day. Like I have been now. I look at the games the night before on opening lines and try to check back at lunchtime. Also I like playing hometeams or teams that just own other teams, like Wisconsin has against Illinois at home. Last night I went with Ok St, who has been beating OU, but should have figured in the rivalry and the new year. But the funny thing is you can do all these things and no-one really knows who will show up to play that night. I also like homedogs in the Big East, like Rutgers last night and WVU tonight. And for some reason WVU jumps on them early, I'll come back and take Ucon 2nd half. Like I did last night in the rutgers- Syracuse game.
But I always have a list of teams I like but don't want to pull the trigger on them. If I see one of the cappers I follow on here also like them, I sometimes put their plays in my threads and say they are so and so.
I don't like going to other sites cause sometimes it does get to confusing.

as far as not playing a team that everbody is touting is crazy!!! if you like the game play it!!! there is nothing worse than capping a game you like then flipping sides because everybody is on your play.. the bottom line is its your money and your decison... this is a great site to pick up info.( picks, stats and trends).. what i love to do is follow those teams that are being touted everywhere(service plays) then fall on their face, usually they bounce back with some good line value....

I belong to 1 private board (invitation only)….1 pay board…..and 3 free boards (including this one) but I only post daily on 3 of the 5 daily including here…..Now On this board because I really don’t know who’s good and who’s not and I don’t really read many of the posts because there’s just two many of them to go into each one and I don’t have that much time anyway. But what I have noticed on the other four boards IS interesting!
                        1) The invitation only board……I don’t see much following because a key capper is on one particular side, their all over the play….lol…win some, lose some is the attitude.
                        2) The Pay board is pretty much the same as the above board, meaning nobody really follows another to just be part of the crowd.
                        3) Now what’s interesting is the 2 remaining free boards (excluding this board) the 2 free boards are always opposite each other….. It amazes me how opposite they are on about every pick… It’s as if one key person starts with a pick in the morning and it just grows from there and everybody follows like sheep…I guess it just come down to the quality of cappers on each respective board…..

RJ, that's me... I am around on a couple of different boards... some are mostly racing, some are sports... I generally find only a handful of places I've been to be receptive (this being one of them... hadn't had any trouble with anyone until the 'chalkie' thing yesterday).

For example... Tonight, Shorty's 10*, Punisher, wayne's triple double on Illinois; Lovedoc, Orientalhawn, others on Wisconsin.... All excellent cappers, someone's gotta be right someone's gotta be wrong, I have no strong feelings on it.... Good one to stay away from!

Shorty 10* and RJ on Xavier, didn't see anyone on GW... Xavier's a good pick.....

                              Great thread.

Here is my take on it. I dont know where I stand on the level of "good capper" as far as this site goes. All I do is try my best. I dont go to other sites. This site is the best hands down. I know of dozens of other forums but I dont go to them. I cap my own games and play them. If I have a game I like and someone ie homer, frankb, doc,rj,shorty,ez,chuck,TV,wayne and so on are on the opposite side chances are it would be a no play game unless I felt so strong about it that I'd still play it. Generally I never let other peoples picks on a game influnence my feeling on it.
Just look at PATS on sunday for example. Everyone was taking the steelers. Not to say that I couldnt have lost but I didnt change my stance cause I capped the game and felt strong on how I saw things. Sink or swim I was gonna stand by the pick I made.

                                Part 2

As far as # of games a night. Peoples opinion on # of games a night varies. Mine is Never more than 5-6 plays in a night. Typically 3-5 for me.

I dont like to rank my plays 1*2** 3*** etc. cause honestly who the fuck knows???? Its gambling. What makes a 1 better/worse than a 2,3, or 5*play? My big plays are few and far between so if you see 1 from me you'll know it. consider my plays all 1 star 1 unit unless stated otherwise. This is no disrespect to other cappers just how I do it.
