Super Bowl Thoughts, Predictions, Prop Wagers

I'v commented on two previous pats games, being from Boston know a little about them. NFC is terrible!!! NO matter WHO it was ATL,MINNY, GB, or Philly. Terrell can play it won't matter. Pats better in every aspect. game plan should be to treat Philly like Manning and Indy, Mcnabb is the key stop him and the offense will stall. On offense balanced attack should be just fine. Pats 31-17. And Philly after failing to get there will be hard to really get focused, they have a sense of accomplishment.....and ALL the spotlight and hoopla, will be a task for them while the pats been there done that, very business like.

I dont care what the line is my $$$$ are on NE. Bet the SB small @ AFC-4.5 already will pull the trigger on NE prolly late right before kickoff.

Did the same thing myself. Actually, not a small bet. I got the same line and that will probably be the only bet I make on the side. We definitely got some nice value at 4.5.

The line is now 7, and you see it going to 4 1/2. I highly doubt it;it more likely will stay where it is or even go up.
My god did you see what the Pats just did to two opponents who are least as good as the Eagles? The line should be 7 considering the fact that the Pats are the defending champs and are about as good an organization from management down to the last player as you will find in professional sports today.
ps If they can go into Pitt. and win, they sure as heck can defeat the Eagles on a neutral site.

yeah, looks like it will never get to 4.5 but i do think it will go down as we get closer to kickoff... as far as the matchup goes this is most complete team the pats will play all year!!! the steelers peaked 2 months ago!!!! once everybody got the book on big ben it was just a matter of time.. and their sack total really fell off down the stretch which finally exsposed their still weak secondery...the pats obviously deserve to be the chalk, but nobody gave the panthers a shot last year and they hung 29 on the pats with ty law and tyrone poole in the lineup...not questioning the thinking behind this line just like the way the birds matchup...

looks just like last year(panthers) be careful....no pressure on the panthers last year and almost won outright!!! this is better eagle team especially on the def. side..looking for very close game

Hey-Anything is possible-even my beloved Red Sox winning the World Series this year.
More importantly, this is one out of one and not 4 of 7, and many strange things can happen.
Obviously, if you like Phil. grab the points now(if you haven't done so already) because as you say it probably won't go much higher.
I wouldn't make too much of the Panthers as that was last year and don't know how much relevance it has now.
Hopefully it will be a great game and not the Patriot rout some are calling for.

T.O> will be the Birds #3 WR for the game. I know the Pats are tough but I think the Eagles can pull it out. The Eagles D is playing out of it's mind right now. There D will keep Ne under 20 points and the birds win 20-17.

the only reason i keep bringing up the panthers is not the fact they're the same kind of team as the eagles they're not...this pats team is better especially on off. , but last year nobody expected their def. to get gashed like they did and with the injuries to the secondery this year i can't believe this unit is better off going into the big game as they were last year.. but who knows it's 2 weeks by then i could have about 10 parlays rolled into the pats...... and by the way congrats on the sox ,it couldn't be a better time to be a boston fan(pats ,sox ) and who knows if the celts can find a way to win about 40 games they should win the atlantic..

But, what I always say lets not lose focus on the other games we can play. Usually on Super Sunday you can catch a few good sleepers!

Everyone is focusing on the game..... Making their plays, Boxes, predictions, partying .... mean while the great (odds makers, handicappers) are touting the other games. You hear this all the time, Where in some cases Vegas makes a few guys hit them on other games....in order not to have the public all on one side. They only want the Vig!
Who knows if that is an ol-wives tale...

how can you evaluate the eagles defense as great when the eagles haven't played a good BALANCED offense yet. Minnesota was an awful team that had an injuried moss who tried to fake his way through the game. They had no real running game as they had about 3 guys trying to find something. Yet the eagles barely covered that game.

Than vs the falcons they were putting 9 guys in the box and begging vick to throw as they knew that he couldn't. again a one sided offense.

now vs the pats.....the pats are the complete package. offense, defense, special teams. the pats will come up with a plan to shut down westbrook and do you honestly believe that freddy mitchell and greg lewis are going to get it done vs a secondary that shut down reggie wayne, harrison, and stoekly?

This is going to be a rough ride for the eagles.

Like I said early, I believe the Eagles D will be the key to victory. They have 3 pro bowlers in the secondary, so they will shut down the passing game. The run D is very impressive now. They will not shut down Dillon, but if they hold him to about 100 yds the Eagles will win this game easily. I will be putting plenty of $ on the Eagles money line. This team can stop the Pats offense and win a close game.

Just remember that Belicheck has 2 weeks to prepare. I think that may be money the way Paterno used to be money when he had 4 weeks to prepare for a bowl game.
