looks good on paper!!! just can't make a case for the falcons in this spot... i've tried all week to find something to get excited about with the falcons just can't find it..vicks athletic ability just isn't enough for me.. good def. that are well coached and fast have given him fits( tampa bay).. eagles having already beaten him in the playoffs in 03 (20-6) will force him to throw the ball which plays right into the strength of the eagles (3 pro bowlers in the secondery)... the one thing i know for sure is the eagles are a better team then the one that beat atl. two years ago, and i'm not sold that this atl. team(loosing at home 17-10 to the lions???, beating the cards 6-3 at home, loosing 56-10 to the chiefs, loosing 27-0 to the bucs) is better then the team that won in green bay then lost to the eagles in 03.. what really concerns me about the falcons is their def. numbers really drop off on the road (sacks, rushing d, pts allowed) and if you think about it it makes sense they are under sized at both def. ends spots( kerney and smith) that rely on speed.. which is why they excel at home (twice as many sacks at home) fast surface crowd noise , obviously they won't have either on sunday.... i just can't see a one dementional off. beating the eagles.. i know they lost the last three nfc title games and i could't blame anybody out there taking a stand that this team will choke again...but simply looking at the numbers the eagles are the better team and should win by a least a touchdown ...
