  • Message to all BC vets

I try to do this every few months, but as y'all know, unfortunately, i am not one of those guys who goes into all your threads and wishes you luck, nor do i thank you nearly enough for all the winners you give me.........

However , i keep immaculate records because each year, i total what i bet in each sport, won/lost, etc......and between ez, wayne, homer, rj, sparkie, frank, orientalhawn, the rest of the blind mice, the kapt and his crew, in 2004 you won me about $8,400.........let this serve as my yearly thank you........

i am not sure what i like better about this site, the fact that you guys do not kick us when we are down, or the fact that the vets are such good cappers and so classy about it........

finally, to all of the people that come to this site because they want to get only the service plays..........i guess the advantage for the mods is that it does benefit the site, but understand that of all the people that i named about, 90%-100% of them and definitely myself play our own plays while it is very rare that these services do........always remember, they are only trying to get your money while the people posting for free are not only putting our reps on the line, but if we go 0-5, we lost a lot of cash too.......

to me, this site is kept alive my the positive reinforcement......i saw an earlier post where rwall asked a question and RJ correctly stated that answering those questions is why we are here

everybody keep it up, and we will all keep winning
    thanks

as i have told you many times, you are the main reason i ever started posting.....i miss our late night post-game conversations we had last year, i think it aided both of us, but bro, i really do not have the time to post like i did last year and it is killing me......i love the days i can free myself up and post, win or lose........

but as we all know, work, family, and much more important obligations exist.........hopefully 5 years from now, we will still be posting

Shorty, as I know you are aware. In my book there's not many classy cappers but more importantly classier guys. Than you!

You are a stand up guy. You don't make excuses when you lose. And don't gloat when you win.

        GL buddy

          Shorty,

I'll second that, as someone who rarely caps and relies on the hard work and opinions of others, and has been hurt by every service i've tried, this site is truly a blessing... the comraderie and unselfishness of the people you mentioned, and others too, has been a great help, and the positive response to some cappers who have come on board the past week or two and done very well will keep alot of good people around.... the negativity and bullshit lately has been kept to a minimum that too is great to see! My only regret is that i found you guys late in the year, i'm sure 2005 will be alot better for me than 2004 was... the good jokes, political discussions and, oh yeah the tit and pussy pics don't hurt either! GL to all, from GL

I came to this site over a year ago the same reason so many of us come. Seeking services picks. I quickly realized that the cappers on this forum were better than most 'pro'cappers.

Last season I played EZ CBB made a profit. In MLB I aligned myself with Coverboy and Kmann to form the 3 wise men. I challange any scamdicapper to equal what we did in baseball. We made a ton of $$$ with over 600 plays. I also followed very successfully Chuck Lazar in bases and did very well.

In the past year following capper like EZ, Homer, Wayne, Chuck, even my nemisis Wiz has taught me one very valuable lesson. CAP MY OWN GAMES. Win or lose. I'm a better capper.

As most of you know I'm very ANTI-service. I am so for one very good. I can say with 100% certainty. In the past year when I followed services I've been a lose. When I follow the cappers here and my own capping. I've won. More importantly. I have more fun capping my own games.

Gary it's unfortunate that 99% of the BS is caused by 2% of the members. The core members here are all great. We might not agree on certain issues but we discuss them with class.

Gary, I believe you are from LI. I grew up in Franklin Square. Now live in Florida.

Tech, no one can hit 70% long term. Any newbie that comes to this site with such claims is going to get shot down.

i died laughing the first time i saw your oxycontin pictures there.......i think you are missing the 160 mg pill that was taken off the market, but that is still hilarious

however, i digress a bit for just this purpose--->notice that there has never and wil never be a time, when i try to cpmete with anyone on this site........it is a lot like life, there are days 80% of the people here are better than i, and vice versa........

and believe me, i know that when i see so many views on a post of mine or any of the others, i know most of the people are just playing the games just because some of us picked them.......i appreciate those people as much as i do the vets who post themselves........

at the risk of sounding a little over the top, i can assure everyone that if i pull a 1-4 night, which i have done many times, i am far sicker at the thought that others have lost than what ever i lose.......i know eventually iw ill make it back but i hate when others lose on my behalf,

the lowest point of my entire BC career was just last week when i posted a GOY against kansas because i thought simien and langford were out and they played.........had i been a newbie, i am not sure i could have recovered from that moronic move........it truly made me ill, but as always, the people here supported me and we are right back at it

i too dislike the services because i have talked to many of them 1 on 1, and they know nothing about sports and less about gambling money management, they only know how to advertise and i give them credit for that, it is america and if they can convince people to bet their crap, good for them.....but us free guys probably get more satisfaction when for free, we go 3-2 or 5-3 than these guys do when they get paid......

                    just my opinion

                      frank is right.......

i had the perfect college basketball season last year, everything went right, i got every break, and went 65% and i was the first to tell everyone that will not happen again......unti wise, maybe i am about 54% this year, but this is the way anyone should gage sucess--->if you bet a whole year and your profit is 1 unit, you did bettter than 80% of the rest of the hard core gamblers in the world

Shit! I don't know how old you are. I'm 44. In the late 70s and early 80s I hung out in Island Park. Trying to remember the names of the bars.

I left Franklin Square in 1986 when I moved to Deer Park. Then moved to Florida in 1996. I still have a few friends that live in FS.

I have a brother and sister still on LI. I come up at least once each year.
