Taking a shot in the MAAC.
Here goes ...
Canisius -3' over Loyola Md.
I actually think this will be an entertaining game nobody will see or much care about. Can winners of their last 3 but 0 for December and winless on the road this year. Loy somehow beat Niagara and beat a military academy and that's it.
2 back against Rider the Greyhounds were up by 12 with over 3 minutes left when rider went on a 3 point barrage and won by 4. Loyola lost to Marist last out in part to the three's.
This is Loy Md.'s third game in a week and 2nd in 3 nights. I think they will be a bit flat and tired. When fatigue sets in they will turn the ball over more (already MAAC worst with17.8 pg ) and shoot worse free throws (also a MAAC worst).
Cannisius has recently gone to a 4 guard lineup and was able to out rebound 2 of the last 3 oppnents (-3 to St Pete). And have improved from the 3.
