I Want My Edit Button Back !!!!!!

Thanks for your re-consideration in extending the "Edit" button to 10 minutes...I have made errors, and took me more than 10 minutes to get back in...Thus at peak time, I had 869 on line at that time, couldn't do either Edit or Repost...Can't tell you a lie...the mistake was a winner...go figure...

I can understand your logic of people changing posts for their "Ego Look"....But you say we can go their posts, see what they post, and we're intelligent enough to know when they change em...Yep you're right, thus no reason to take away the edit addition...

It's so easy to go to your post, add winner/loser behind it...show a tally...everyone sees it for themselves...For those who "Change" their posts (for their benefit), we know who they are, and could care less about their record...

I can understand your frustration about a bunch of needless threads/insults/dart throwing/name calling etc., generating from "Post Changes", but we have some needless threads, complaints, requests regarding "Putting the Edit Button" back...Flip a coin...

Heres my take....We are adults--we know what people post--give us back the "Edit Button" for ease of record up keeping, this also slows down additional posts, extra long threads...I thank you for the "10 minutes" granted, but like a "child with Candy", I want more...Use your own judgement, whats best for the Forum, we'll make it work...

It's better when you do a recap you post a new reply that way people see how you did. As I for one don't go back searching old posts, but do look at new posts.

allow me to add ... "by far" is putting it mildly.. It is not easy to make everyone happy .. I have been on many forums ... jumping all over the place .. was a MOD on one of them... So glad I came to realize that this forum is the place to be

I would leave the edit fuction fully accessable at any time.

You'll never get a better litmus test in a forum.
