Divisional Playoff GOY

Hey guys have been following the forum for about a year now. Deciding to post my first play and hopefully it will be an easy winner.


Here we go:

Sunday INDY travels to New England

IND is 2-5 ATS in their last seven playoff games
NE is 25-6-3 in their last 34 overall
Pats are 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings

I see Manning having trouble throwing the ball against a very good defense regardless on the weather if it snows it makes it even easier for the D to contain the Indy Offense . NE has had a two weeks to rest and study the INDY offense. I mean the Indy D is nothing to get excited over, which I think Tom Brady will have a field day on. With the fans at New England's back I see this one an easy winner.

i agree 100%. i think all the favorites win and cover this week. i am going to bet all the favorites for the same amount of money as i do not think i will go any worse than 3-1, but looking at 4-0. we will see.

I liked the favorites last week also!!!
Indy does look like the best offense in the league, 3 1,000 yard recievers, going up against a beat-down secondary!!
I know Bill will have the D ready, but Peyton needs to show he can win the big game!!
I like the over 51, Both offenses should be able to score.
I just think this one is way too close to call GOY

I disagree with this statement. Snow is a huge advantage for the Indy offense. The receivers know their routes. D-backs don't.

Wind and only wind can contain Indy offense.

Do you like the favorites this week solely because they were 1-3 last weekend? This weeks games have nothing to do with favs or dogs covering last week.

no frank, lets start with the steelers game. everyone is on the jets because of the very close game last time(6-3 lead in 4th) but that is misleading as the steelers did not have may players and are well rested this time. steelers should win by more than 10. atlanta already beat up on the rams this year and i see no reason why they wont again as they cant contain vick. the rams have been playing great lately but not here. next, look at philly. everyone and their mother likes them to cover and possibly win. why, i have no idea???? yes they played good against a bad packer team, but what about the performance to washington the week before. if they cant beat the skins they will not beat philyy and i see a route here. finalyy, i like ne simply because belichel owns manning. he has had two weeks to prepare and in my opinion is the beat coach in the game. young secondary or not he will find a way to slow indy down and squeak out a win. those are my reason, take it for whats it worth(usually shit)

wass21, i like your confidence in your reasoning. and when you start talking about philly, you never mention minny you just say look at philly. everyone and their mother likes them to cover and win, then you talk about the vikings recent games, some might find it hard to follow!!
I don't think bill can coach his way into a win against an Indy team destined to lose in the AFC championship game, I think the Steelers have the easiest road to the bowl, because the roads goes through Pit.
I think the Eagles get past the Vikes, somebody wins the other game and goes into philly and wins,
Steelers either beat rams/falcons to win the BOWL!!!

i like to fade public also but check this out. traditionally vegas likes to trap us to take the favorites. this time around they probably are setting up moneyline traps where a big favorite goes down at a 4-1 moneyline. remember people, gamblers just don't bet the line and matter of fact theres bigger bets on moneylines and we allthe public always moneylines the favorites if they dont wanna lay down to many points. i hink these big lines might be a trap to get people to bet the moneylines. but, a weird stat; last 14 years dogs are covering only at a clip of 48.6% in divisional playoffs

trying a long shot, but i took all the dogs and overs in a parly. just for a grin. little scared about pilly and falcons., i think colts win outright and jets keep it close.
