Le mans will try to keep chasing a good spot near the first places of the league, in order to achieve their main target this season, promotion. Their perfomance to the first round of the league was really unpredictable, and finally they didn't manage to get a higher place till the end of this first round. They got out of the French cup too after losing against Lille 2-1. Now their main target in promotion. Last week Le Mans coach released two of his main squad and experienced players, midfielder Fernando d'Amico and Norwegian midfielder Dan Egen, in order to sign a fast attacker to the club. They have no injuries or suspensions at the moment , and they play with their strongest squad tonight. Croation Derania (4 goals) will play in front.

Creteil is mudding somewhere at the bottom of the league , and they didn't got positive results to their last games. They gained 3 points from 3 draws to their last three matches and they scored only 4 goals away from home to a total of 10 matches. Creteil played two friendly matches to their holiday period as a preparation for the second round. They won a 4th division team 2-1 , and they lost from Draginian (5th division team) 1-0! Creteil will have a lot of squad problems for tonight's match. Main midfielder Zerom Perez is out suspended (17 matches played) , midfielder Marco Ramos (16 matches played) , striker Rozeiro Moreira (16 matches played) , defender Damien Perinel (13 matches played) & defender Alberto Cairos (9 matches played) , are all out injured and they will not play tonight.
