Posting this one early because I think this line will run.

Louisville -9 over S. Miss

S.Miss has lost 3 in a row, all road games. They are 7-1 at home this year, but that is decieving when you see that the only noteworthy team is LSU. The others include William Carey, Alcorn St., Spring Hill, Mcneese St., SE Louisiana, UNC Greensboro and Colorado Springs.
S. Miss relies heavily on one player, Jasper Johnson. He leads his team in scoring, shooting an incredible 60% (17 ppg), and rebounding (7.7 rpg).
Louisville does have one of college's best players in Francisco Garcia and an an emerging star in freshman Juan Palacios.

Normally I would stay away from ranked fav vs. an unranked team thinking the line is balooned a bit, but ths is the only road fav on the board.

Ohio St. +8 over Wisconsin
I liked the way Ohio st looked last out vs. Iowa. Like the little red train that started to believe it could....I think I can, I think I can... the best paid athletes in college keep it close. I also believe that a team that has won 35 home games in a row and has been winning @ home this year by 20 or more will be an inflated home fav.
A trend is your friend, but a trend must end.

App. St +11 over Davidson
App lost last year to Dave by one. The final shot was tipped in at the buzzer. App St is 0-5 on the road, but again misleading. They played 2 SEC teams (Vandy & S Carolina) 2 ACC teams (Miami & Va.) and So Con foe Wofford. App knows they can win at Belks Arena taking 3 of the last 4 there. There home loss last out to UNC Greensboro gives me a little value here along with the fact that Davidson won there last 2 vs. SoCon's Furman and Elon. If not for a free throw disparity in both the games would have been different. Dave was +11 FTA vs Elon and converted 15 more and +20 FTA Vs. Furman.
App probably won't get Coach Farcher's 100 win tonite but should keep it close.
