Cleveland Cavaliers
Lay the points with the CAVALIERS! Cleveland fits an IN-SEASON combined angle that's 34-5, 87% ATS! The first angle is 19-3: Play ON a "GOOD HOME FAVORITE" who WON as a favorite in their last game, now playing against an opponent who lost their last game as a dog. The second angle that fits the Cavs is 15-2: Play ON a team who WON their last game as a favorite, now playing against a "BAD AWAY DOG". Charlotte has dropped 14 of 15 on the road this season, and have dropped their 2 January road tilts to Miami and Orlando by scores of 113-90 and 111-91. The Cavs have smoked their last 2 home opponents by 16 & 25 points. The bench. Harris, Snow, and Varejao are enjoying their best run of the season! In their last 3 games, the Cavs are +62 with Harris on the floor, +44 with Varejao on the floor, +35 with Snow, +27 with Traylor, and +11 with Pavlovic. We'll ride the deep CAVALIERS over Charlotte.
Memphis Grizzlies
I'm laying the points with MEMPHIS on Tuesday. The Grizzlies fit the EXACT SAME ANGLES that fit the Cavaliers. The angles, as explained in the Cleveland write-up are a combined 34-5 ATS! Along with the angles, the Pacers are playing their 4th straight road game, already having to play at San Antonio, Dallas, and Phoenix. On Sunday, Indiana allowed the Suns to score 65 first half points on 58% shooting. On Saturday, the Pacers were hammered for 77 first half points by Dallas on 74% shooting! Meanwhile, Memphis has won 9 of 11 S/U, while cashing 8 tickets. Pau Gasol is averaging over 21 PPG during the streak, connecting of 44 of 78, (56%), from the floor. Bonzi Wells has been outstanding off the bench, and Battier and Wright have been demons on the glass and defensive end of the court! I expect another BLOWOUT and will back the GRIZZLIES minus the points!
Los Angeles Clippers
My NBA Dog of the Week is a play ON the CLIPPERS plus the points over Seattle. The Clippers fit an in-season angle that's 12-2, 86% ATS! You play ON an away dog of 6 or more points who lost their last game at home. The rest of the angle must remain under wraps, but I will release any that fit the system throughout the season at VE! LAC punished Seattle the first time they met, winning 114-84 way back on November 3. My how things have changed. Seattle is now tied with Miami for the 4th best record in the NBA. But while so much has changed, one thing in this matchup will remain the same. I believe the Clippers match up very well with Seattle! LAC held Seattle to 37% shooting in the November win, and I believe they'll put the wraps on Seattle's shooting again on Tuesday. The Sonics came home off a 5-game road trip with an outstanding 2nd half in a 10 point win over Miami. Seattle relied on their bench in the win as the Sonic reserves outscored Miami's bench, 66-17! In fact, the Sonics' starters were outscored 81-42! This seems to be a potentially troubling trend. Since the turn of the year, the Sonics starting 5 have canned just 90 of 219 FGA, just 41% from the floor. I expect this contest to go right to the wire, and would not be surprised to get an outright upset! I'm TAKING THE POINTS with the CLIPPERS as my NBA Dog of the Week!
