  • Moss Makes A Statement

    Playoffs YTD: 0-0

    2* Vikings +7 (-120)
Everybody's dumping on the Vikings and for good reason. This is a gutless team that folds every year and packed it in last week against Washington. That being said, this is a great situation for Minnesota. Moss will look to atone for his childish walk-off and gets to face the NFL's worst secondary. Further, Green Bay always plays Minnesota close. Both matchups this year were 34-31 GB wins, well under today's inflated spread. While Tice is an awful coach and Minnesota is a heartless team, I suspect they'll show some pride today and play hard. Green Bay needs to score 38 points to win because of how bad the Packers defense is. All of this points to taking the points.

    1* Vikings OVER 50
(posted a couple of days ago in anticipation of line movement---which has occurred)
I went into the analysis on my first post so I won't repeat it but good weather conditions and the bad GB secondary and the injury to Minnesota's best DB all point to a shootout.

gris I dont think Moss gives a shit what people think, and if he doesnt touch the ball 5 times in the 1st 4 minutes, or if he gets hit hard---I think he packs it in for the season

          I think

Moss packed it in for the season in October. He is a non factor for the most part except for the occasional one or two "spectacular" plays.....but the bottom line there is many receivers have one or two spectacular plays!! I do like the points because Minn still has:

          Culpepper
          Burleson
          Robinson
          Bennet
          Wiggins
          Mo Williams
          O Smith
          Dewelde Moore
          Kelly Campbell (may be out)

THAT IS A TON OF POINTS PLAYERS.......IF NOT FOR MANNING THIS YEAR....EVERYONE WOULD BE TALKING ABOUT DANTE throwing his 40th touchdown pass today....just a few away from Marinos record!!!

The biggest two reasons Minnesota has and will continue to fail this year are

          1) They had the BEST OFF Line in the NFL to start the year and only have one and half playing the last half of the season. (Birk with a herniated disk still trying to play). THIS is the biggest reason for the undefeated start and the injuries hit and they have not done squat since they were hurt.

          2) Tice....Between him and Mike Martz you could not come up with a "ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS WINNER" Neither one could figure it out!!

JMHO.........GOOD POINTS ON THE OVER GRIS.....SHOULD be a solid play!

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ON ALL YOUR PLAYS TODAY!! I'll just stick to the hoops! Goldv
I am NOT schizophrenic......and NEITHER am I! Just paranoid that fear may overcome my insanity!

I would strongly urge value players to pound Philadelphia now. I just got -9 1/2. I strongly think this game will be at least -10 by next week.

I'm happy with my big win on the Vikes but should have gotten the over as well. Longwell missing a 28 yarder?? And, the Vikes could have easily gone for the FG with 2:00 left. Oh well, I'll take the win but it could have been a BIIIIG day.

Get off the Vikes now, though. They'll revert to form against Philly and will get killed.
