we have removed the hack that you used to see when you came to the site to see if that's causing the slowness of the site on the weekends.

If your talking about the main index then that sucks. I never liked hanging out in the forum, i liked seeing the new posts from all the forums on the main page. I'm VERY SAD! I wasn't having problems on the weekend like others and i'm not sure what to think of this now.

Weekends have been a disaster since last August - September... especially when the actives mount up to above 750 .

Let's hope this change will handle the volume.

I for one have not had any problems on the weekends since the new format. I don't know if i'm alone or why but it's a little slower but my posts and refreshes still work. I miss the main index page alot.

It just looks way too much like the other forums now right down to the color. I believe that main page was the seperation between us and those other guys!
