Yesterday on sporting news radio show Scott always talks with head line maker Robert Walker at the mirage ask about the game he said he was covered up with Okl money . He said that he cound not find a usc bettor. This guy has been sharp in nfl all year as far his takes on the games. Scott picks on nfl going oppsite of the trends and stats 65-52-3 on the year. Not bad better than touts some these guys are paying for free.

I think the Pac-10 is a weak conference and how many Heisman winner's do well in their bowl game? I forget the numbers but it is staggering how bad Heisman winners do. It happened to Jason White last year and i think this year he gets his. USC was not very dominating this year against real good teams and if they were in another power conference they wouldn't be without a loss. Mike Williams won't be here for this one and i think they could use him here. Just a hunch but when was the last team to win back to back titles? It doesn't happen often and the motivation to get one has to be on the OU sidelines after last year! I'm sure USC will get some money as the game gets closer.

Heisman winners generally play very poorly...but Carson Palmer did light it up in the Orange a couple of years back...

i simply can't back a team from the big12!!!! after seeing ok. st. and tex. am( two teams that took oklahoma to the wire )get absolutely dominated on both sides of the ball by ohio st. and tenn.... i really feel for auburn, those 2 wins over tenn. look a hell of a lot better now..not to mention both wins were away from home... the fact okl. got the nod over a undefeated team from the sec is criminal!! considering last year they got it handed to them by a 1 loss team from the sec(LSU) in the bcs champ. game.. no one out there can tell me that if LSU would have gone undefeated this year that they wouldn't have jumped okl. and would have been in the orange bowl!!!the fact auburn was ranked 17th to start the season should have nothing to do with them not playing for national championship at the end of the year...LSU had no business being ranked 3rd in the nation to start the season nor did auburn obviously deserve being ranked 17th!!! sorry about talking about stuff eveybody already knows... i just feel okl. has got the nod over couple of better teams(usc,aub) the last 2 years...

just hope that heisman winner jason white plays worse than heisman winner matt leinhart and the two future heisman hopefulls wash out. booby stoops is going to have some boys jumpin ship on the staff per some ytown rumors...possibly thinking of the new positions already.
