  • Huge NFL opportunities on Sunday

The last two weeks have been a debacle as I have lost 9 of my last 11, screwing up a great NFL year. Nonetheless, I think the Sunday card is sensational because of the weird dynamics in so many games.
    NFL YTD: 25-25 -9.7 units

    2* Jets -3 (-125)
St. Louis is terrible right now. The Jets still need a win to guarantee a playoff berth. The Rams offense seems dead and the Jets 10-5 record in the AFC speaks volumes about who's the better team.

    2* Texans -9
Cleveland is playing its second road game in a row closing out a miserable season with an interim coach. There's no motiviation there. Houston, on the other hand, has played two great games in a row and can end its season on a happy note in front of home fans. This one could be a rout.

    2* Ravens -11
Dolphins play out the string on the road while Baltimore has to win to keep its slim playoff hopes alive. Miami is notoriously bad on the road at the end of the season.

    1* Eagles +3 1/2
Does Philadelphia really want to go into the playoffs with two losses in a row? Besides, they have a bye next week to rest up. I think Reid may play his front line playersd longer than he did last week. Getting Philly and points at home is a steal.

    1* Cardinals -3
Once again, I'll take the home team in an end-of-season contest. And, Arizona actually has a longshot playoff chance if they win.

    1* Redskins +3 1/2
The Vikings are a team with no heart and a doofus coach. They're falling apart just like last year. Incredible stat: Minnesota is a shocking 3-19 ATS in its last road game over the last 22 years!!! I don't like team trends much but this one is amazing.

    1* Broncos -8 1/2
Remember last year when Denver laid down in Green Bay the last week of the season when the Packers had to win and Denver's game was meaningless? Exact reversal here. Indy clinched its slot last week and has to play next week. Very likely they'll rest Manning. Denver has to win. They'll play hard and inspired while Indy is outside its dome and playing subs.

Love the Jets play. Probably will be my biggest wager of the year in the NFL.
