Bowl YTD 4-3 -1.5 units
2* Louisville -10 1/2
I admit to being disconcerted by the violent line movement toward Boise but it appears to be based solely on Louisville's coach being likely to take the LSU job. I don't think that should affect the senior-laden Cardinals---what do they care who coaches after they're gone? Louisville is a much better team. They won most games this year by annihilations, including a 63-point win over a solid Cincinnati team. They may have seven NFLers on their roster. Boise is unbeaten but almost lost several times and aren't dominating when they get away from their blue home field. Unless they bring a can of spray paint to Memphis, they'll be lost. Louisville by 27 is my call.
Posted earlier when line was more favorable:
1* Minnesota +2 1/2
I won't repeat the write-up but the Gophers are a good team that fell into an unfortunate slump in the underrated Big Ten.
