Had a nice bounce back day yesterday. All plays were 2 Star plays. Went 1-1 is soccer, 4-1 in college hoops, (lost the moneyline parlay, this was only 1 STAR) and went 2-1 in the NBA. A total of 7-4 (+6.6 units) for the day. Tonight I have a 5 STAR play in college hoops and a strong 3 STAR in the NBA. Remember I rate my plays as 1,2,3 and 5 STAR plays. My 5 STAR record for all sports currently stands at 61-37-2 (62.2%)(+101.5 Units).

5 STAR: Marquette (+7) OVER LOUISVILLE
The Cardinals, who just a couple of weeks ago looked unbeatable, have suddenly lost 3 out of thier last 4 games. That one win in that span was at Marquette. The Golden Eagles are very good when revenging a home loss, posting a 14-4 against the spread record when revenging a home loss versus an opponent since 1997. The Eagles are also one of the few teams in college hoops that isn't fazed by playing on the road, as they have won and covered in their last six road outings. Marquette is also 10-3 against the spread in road games off a win by 10 points or more over a conference rival and 14-5 against the spread as a road underdog of 6.5 to 12 points since 1997. Louisville is only 2-8 against the spread in home games after allowing 80 points or more over the last 3 seasons. Take the points in this one!
NBA
3 STAR: Sacramento (+4) OVER DALLAS
The Kings have owned this series and they have won both games against Dallas this season, including a 110-109 win in Dallas on February 4th. In fact, the Kings are 5-2 straight up and 6-1 against the spread in games played at Dallas the last three seasons. Sacramento is also 12-4 against the spread versus the elite teams in the league that are outscoring their opponents by 9 points or more per game since 1996. A tired Mavericks team playing their sixth game in ten nights returns home after a 3 game road trip, coming off of a loss at Orlando on Tuesday. Making matters worse for the Mavs, the ice storm in Texas kept the team from leaving Florida after the game. Dallas was slated to practice in Orlando Wednesday. The Mavericks are only 2-8 against the spread after an upset loss as a favorite this season. I'll take the 4 points here for security, but I look for the Kings to win this one straight up!
Good luck,
John
