KAPTAINs Early Jan 2 NFL "Big Play"

I am posting this early, cause the line is gonna go out of whack, and game may be taken off the board...I am playing #440 Buffalo Bills -7 1/2 On Jan 2...I already played it "HEAVY"..

Steelers sitting out QB, 2 RBs, 2DL, 1 LB, 1CB, 1FS, 2OL for this game...Bettis needs 59 yards for 1000 yd season--they may let him get this--I doubt it--they can't gamble on injuries..
Steelers victory here means "NOTHING"...

Bills victory here means "The whole Season" hinges on this game...Have to have it, and a loss by either of 2 other NFL teams to be in Playoffs....Compound this with the fact that the Bills have been playing good football of late, and you have what I call a "Phi Slamma Jamma"...I don't have GOWs, GOMs, or GOYs...But every now and then I see one that I unload on..

I took the Bills at -7 1/2, bought down to-7 and un loaded on it as hi as I go...Situation dictates this game...I like it...I don't feel that a second string Steelers team (that doesn't need it), can stay close to a Improved/hot Buffalo team, that has "Got to have it"...I feel the ODDSMAKERS have given us this game..

Once again, this line will move up to (I think) -11 to 14...Get on it now...kmann

Pittsburgh will not---I repeat--will not GAMBLE any injuries for this meaningless game....Their future is in the playoffs...It would surprise me if they even start their horses...

I've been calling the same for the last 3 weeks. The line is up tp 9 today at pinacle. Pgh is definitly sitting half their team just like Philly did Monday night. Indy will probably do the same thing. Den is giving Indy 9 also, and Den sucks.

I have to disagree a little bit here. I watched the Bill Cowher press conference the other day, and he is not laying down with this game. We will have a lot of starters out there playing and I wouldn't take Buffalo in this one.

I didn't say "ALL" his starters...The ones I listed totaled up to 10 KEY players, leaving a total of 12 starters left to play...7 on offense--5 on defense....Note the word "Key" starters...I didn't say they would lay down, what I said was, almost 50% of the "Key" starters will not play---due to fear of injury--thus the statement that Steelers 2nd string--in a meaningless game--I feel is Inferior to a Bills 1st team--in a must win situation...

You would have to feel/believe that Steelers 2nd team is Superior to Bills 1st team, to not take the bills..."A lot" of Steeler starters is not enought to stay with a HOT Bills team...I do think your heart was talking...

I always respect your opinion and plays. but have to differ with ya on this one, hope your wrong, I laid a "Bundle" on it...

6 meaningless games going this week

There are six teams that their last game has no meaning/bearing on their playoff positions this week...Some/Most are resting "Starters"...This doesn't mean to go out there and bet against em...But, don't believe the hype/BS you hear from the Coaches during their Interviews...

Remember this, the Coaches don't answer to the Fans, Players, or even their own competitive values...They answer to each respective teams "General Manager"...$ and future $, is the name of the game in the NFL...

Sure, they want to win, but do you think a Coach or GM could live down an injury to a key player, e g , Manning--Rothlesberger--Breese--Favre--Vick--McNabb--not to mention RBs and WRs, that they couldn't participate in the Game that means $...This is the NFL not college...In college, Seniors/Players want to win, go out in style, in the NFL, it's all business $ $ $...

Jax/Oakland game is a great example...The Bills Game/outcome has a strong bearing on this game...will determine how hard the Jaguars come out and play...These are all things to consider this week..Some GMs/Coaches may want to take a look at other players, to help determine who to trade, keep etc....

This is the period of the NFL when it is extremely tough to handicap, as if it wasn't before, and you can't get into the Coaches/GMs head to know their Game Plan...Coaches Interviews, I would take with a grain of salt...

Caution this weekend...This is just my take, everyone has their own, but best of luck to ya, in whichever way you go...

PS...I feel NE Pats 2 nd team is as good as some teams 1st players...Hint Hint....kmann

Anyone remember vikings last year, they needed a win but came up short against the lowly cards. You never know what will happen in this crazy sport. good luck!
