  • Why is everyone on UConn?

They were demolished by every quality team that they played during the season except Pitt, who was struggling when they played them.
The 1927 Yankees weren't the best team ever. What everyone fails to realize is that the year before, with the exact same team, they lost to the Cardinals in the World Series.

Because Connecticut is better then people think.

I have watched both teams play many times. Connecticut is better on both sides of the ball in my opinion. Put that along with their first ever bowl game.

Their a Huge play for myself. GL on whatever you play.

          This is just my opinion

Toledo has a beat up squad right now. I originally liked toledo, but like the way UConn can run the ball, and Gradkowski has a broken hand, and it could be 1 hit before he has to leave the game. Not alot of passing by Toledo, and if it comes down to a running game I'm going with UConn. He also has a seperated shoulder. Also, McDougle is out (Toledo RB). Also, like Homer said, this is their 1st bowl game and they will be fired up.

            GL!!!

              Great call!!
i have gone to many uconn games and thought after seeing toledo against miami oh, no. illinois and bowling green that toledo was superior.......but you guys are on this one...doesn't help either that gradkowski has 1 hand....he should not be playing......their coach had the nerve to say he was okay......i have seen punts look better than his passes....awful...congrats!!

                Someone tell me WHY??

Why in the hell do you keep a QB in the game that can't throw the ball more than 5 yards down the field.Normally I would think Toledo could come back, but theres no way with that QB in the game.

good question. there is no down field passing game.
