  • how does everyone feel about Saben going to Miami?

i have liked Iowa in this game and now I like them even more and would not surprise me if Iowa wins this game straight up. LSU has not been a shadow of the team they were last year all this year and i do not see them beating iowa by 7 points at all. they almost lost at home to and should have lost at home to Troy, but Ill tell everyone now Troy is not a push over at all to anyteam, they might get beat this bowl season as i recieved a letter from Troy trying to get up alot of fans to show the ncaa they had a following and then they send us all the ay across the country.
troy is not very deep but they can get up for one game and play with just about anyone for a one game deal.
just look at their past records and scores like versus nebraska and oklahoma the first ever game they became a div 1 school and then when they went to kansas st and also even when they went to miami-fla and then beat marshall at home and then missouri this year at home.
they are best when no one says they have a shot and then when they are favored to win on the road and then they are not a good play.
so far this year of all the troy games i have only missed or been wrong on one of their games ats.
so if i have a play on their bowl game i will post it. i just am not to sure how they will play this far from home and then also in a bowl game since this is their first ever bowl game and i know for a fact they were hoping to get a bowl alot closer to home so they woudl have had a very good following but no way alot of us wil be able to go to california and then northern california to be there for them.

well good luck to you all.

They showed on ESPN his bowl games record and it was not very impressive. It will be a challenge for him and time will tell if he can adapt to the NFL.

fucked up situation in alot of bowls this year. lots of lame ducks at the helm. i agree 1000% on the lsu comments. no way they compare to last years team. i have not seen a consistent defense or a qb all year for the tigers. iowa seems to good to be true so they will probably get blown out. i have watched alot of iowa this year being from big 10 country and they are solid. my question is can iowa match up with the speed of lsu???
its easy to grin when your ship comes in...

agree with your comment of inconsistency at the QB position, but the defense is as good or better than it was last year. with the exception of the GA game (double revenge for GA from the pasting it took last year). they are a top 5 defense that can shut down a running game. since iowa has no running game to speak of (dead last in the NCAA), LSU will be able to employ its agressive man to man defense that saban has really perfected with this team. LSU, regardless of Saban's status now with the Dolphins, will play hard for the coach that so many players on this team love. practices have been very good which is a tribute to saban's business-like style which the pkayers really mirror. I would not just discount this team becasue of saban's lame duck status - they will want to send their respected coach off the the NFL with a big win.

Saban Going To Miami Is The Wrong Move- He Had A Sweetheart Deal At Lsu, Money, Incentive, Proven Record, Reloading In Lieu Of Recruiting, Family Apart Of The Community, Fan And Friend Base. He Tried Pros Before And The Results Speak For Themselves, Trying To Get Millionaires To Believe In And Motivate Them Is An Entirely Different World, Todays Word Is Spurrier, Hey Nick Can You Say Spurrier.......................

I don't like the move! Miami had their "new" coach right in front of them. Bates had them playing hard & they were in every game since he took over. They beat the defending Superbowl champs with him at the helm. Wayne Fucked this one up! Just like he did when he hired Wannstadt. The agony of being a 'Phins phan!
