3 Wise Men

One of the problems that occured was in college football and it was my error in judgment that caused it to happen.

I suggested to Karl that we play our CF games for 250 per star right out the gate. That lead to volatility and most of the people in BC do not like volatility and with good reason. The enormous swings in money with so many games can really be unsettling to all of us. On any given Saturday we could be up or down as much as 5,000 - 7,000 by using 250 / Star.

Our comfort zone seems to be at 100 per star - it worked well for baseball and should be used as our standard in all the sports that The 3 Wise Men post. Actually for MLB we based our profit on a flat 100 per game and made over $ 6,000 which is really grinding it out . Fairly stress free season especially considering that we RARELY played a favorite over -135 . ( Mostly small faves and dogs )

Everyone has his/ her own comfort level and it's important to stay within that framework otherwise there are serious errors in judgment which we can ill afford to make.

Overall, The 3 Wise Men will continue to make positive contributions with our posts. My feeling is that thinking long term has and always will be the way to go.
