Parlays

Unless the games can't be bet seperate i.e. they both have started before one has finished, aren't parlays absolutely worthless?
I figured out that a three team parlay, that pays six times the wager doesn't give out the same odds that you would get if you just doubled your wager over the three games, you lose more juice however if all three don't come in;
for example a three team fifty dollar parlay pays 300,
but a fifty dollar wager wins 50,
100 dollar wager wins 100,
200 dollar wager wins 200, for a total of 350.
If you make it to the final game and lose you will have lost the 20 dollars in juice and your original 50 dollar wager!!!

Lots of dogs. Is that a strategy you use consistently during each bowl season? I don't usually bet on the Sooners, but I made an exception this time....a big exception. I really like the Memphis Tigers as well.

I always look for value in the dogs in the early bowls (pre new years day). From New Years day going foward, the big boys tend to cover the number. I don't play this blindly, but its a great place to start.
