  • Houston vs. Indy any thoughts??? Upset maybe...

I feel the Texans will hang in with the Colts and feel the +11 at home is an insult. Granted Manning is pretty impressive and the Texans do suck on the road but they are division rivals and the Texans haven't lost at home by more than 7 pts. all year and that was the first game of the season against a pretty impressive Chargers Offense.

Personally I think with the 11 points Houston ****** at home easily and possibly win.

Any input is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

    Good luck to All

OR we could look at the opposite side of the picture and see Manning beat the living crap out of the Texans secondary. (Which I think is pretty damn reasonable)

"and the Texans haven't lost at home by more than 7 pts. all year"

Colts won 49-14 earlier this year. I expect them to blowout the Texans again.

      agreed

Totally agree with Prae. The truth is, nobody is capable of slowing down the Colts offensively. You could say their offense is their defense. By putting up points early and forcing opponets to go to the air, Indy can easily focus on just worrying about the pass game. Sure Houston has a good passing game, but I don't think they're consistent enough to keep up with the Colts TD for TD. Remember, Colts defense is one of the top in the league in takeaways with 15 INTS. If Indy wins the turnover battle tomm. look for a blowout. Indy will not take this game lightly.

As much as Houston is pumped up for this game and as much as they want revenge on the Colts...Houston has little chance in slowing up Peyton and his arsenal of weapons.

Indy by atleast 2 TD's; just my 2 cents.

do u think they will cover the over under of 57? i expect manning to put 5 TD's on the field to beat the record of dan marino... but after 5 TD's do u think they will pull him out of the game like last sunday... is their second string QB any good..?? which do u think is a better bet the over or indy straight up

Marked this one in the book a month ago.

Texans upset that Manning was still throwing down the field very late in the game. Since that time, Dungy has pulled Manning in the late stages of a blowout. I look for a very spirited effort from the Texan Defense. And from that article would not be surprised to see Peyton get a couple of cheap shots. He better have his head on a swivel. Go Texans.

I would go with the Under. Even if Manning gets in 5 TDs/35 points, Carr needs to get in 3 TDs and maybe an FG... which I just don't see happening.

Unless the Colts D just completely chokes and it turns into a shootout of some sort.
