Did come close last night and have been in it often. (Big deal)

Taking a chance on a game that can only be called
"PIGS at play"
East Tenn. st over Tenn. Tech
Neither team has posted an ATS win yet (0-7) out of 7 lined
all 7 did go over the total
Tenn tech comes into the game with a 3-3 record. Their last win was against a team named Bryan. (Sources tell me this was 10Dime Bry, the 3 blind mice and a blonde with double d's).Tech doesn't play much D. Asbury another Who's this team shot 65% fg. Tech. usually loses big. They only lost by 4 to Moorehead (Great name for a school) in Feb. Tech was a 4' fav.
E. Tenn. has an equally unimpressive 2-5 record, but was competitive vs. MAC's Marshall and C. Mich. losing both. E.T. plays some d and shoots well, shooting 46% v. C. Mich and 45% v. Charleston. They out rebounded Charleston +11, Fresno +14 and Marsh +3.
Both teams have been bet against in their lined games and did not disappoint the other team's backers. Losing all ATS.
E.T. won last years game by 7 at Tech.
The Odss makers still don't have a handle on either team. the early lines I have seen are E.T. -6' and -8. No total I have not seen th opening lines yet.
I will play the Fav. and the over both as early as possible.

No apology necessary. I should be the one offering an apology after a 1-2 night in hoops. I dont mind you posting in my thread ever. Or bringing my name up when appropriate in your threads. Good or bad or joking, as long as your not being a jerk about it I'm cool with it. Many of us joke around on here myself included. I really could careless if you have 5 or 5000 posts on here, you dont need to earn respect. Just be respectful which you have been and you'll do just fine.

Here's another
Iowa -8' over Iowa St.

Revenge minded Iowa comes into the game after a 3 point victory over N. Iowa. They should have probably won by more vs. this Mid- major in-state opponent. I'm sure the game meant more to the players from the smaller school, after not being recruited by the bigger schools. Iowa was probably looking ahead to this one.

Iowa St. comes into this after beating 19th ranked Virginia by 2 at home. Now they are on the road, a recipe for letdown stew.
Last years game saw St. win by 8 at home. In that game St. turned the ball over 14 fewer times and go to the line 15 more times. Iowa also played the game in the middle of a conference sandwich (Ohio St. and Illinois)

The total on E.T./ Tenn. Tech posted at 163.5
This is the highest College total on the slate.
I find that encouraging on a small card
I like to play over the highest totals and under the lowest when there is a small card in any sport (usually).
